That is classic. Laura has great gardening spirit. We have 3’ of snow in the yard in Cochrane Alberta zone 2 but that is a call to plant. I can’t wait (but I will).
Amazing how strategically placed bits of color can lift the spirits! Love the way the porch planters mirror their surroundings. A fun video to start the week!
The tall heuchera reminds me of a song: "White coral bells upon a slender stalk, Lillies of the valley deck my garden walk. Oh don't you wish that you could hear them ring? That will happen only when the fairies sing!" 🧚♀️
Ahhh, it’s so refreshing to see some Spring color! I love the window box arrangement, the color and textures are perfection! Happy First Day of Spring everyone! 🌸
I was feeling the Monday blues this morning...but honestly just hearing and seeing Laura's video made me happier. You are a great outlook boost! A cup of coffee & Laura makes a lot of people happy!!!
Absolutely Beautiful Laura! Great variety and beautiful colors. The way the taller ones blow in the wind will make it look alive through the window! ❤❤
What a treat to see Laura’s spring planters…….I am so jealous. Here in Ontario Canada I can’t even get my Christmas planters taken apart as they are frozen solid. Oh well warmer days ahead!
I am crushing on the strawberry pillows! Tip: to make a smaller entrance mat feel larger, put it on top of a larger solid color mat❤. "see you in the next one"
Love these fresh beautiful containers. The mat and pillows are adorable, and of course Samantha loves them. Be sure to take a pic of you two sitting in this pretty setting. I'm zone 8B, and you would be in big trouble here! Planting year round! Thank you, Laura, for such a bright and cheerful start to my day.
Oh, Laura! Thank you so much. That’s just the inspiration I needed. We all need some color in our lives and that helps so much. I’m getting pretty tired of the dead and gloomy gray skies.
Sandals and a jacket is something you see often here in Minnesota during spring! 😂 Funny to see Laura rocking the look. I'm so envious to see some outdoor planting as we still have several feet of snow here in Saint Paul, MN. Can't wait for our gardening season to begin.
Sorry Laura, I've been busy with school, work and life stuff so I wasn't able to follow your videos recently. So now, I am back and promise to watch all videos you have from where I left off. I am so excited to see you spring bulbs that you planted all over your garden last fall and winter. From Your avid follower.
Yes, we did enjoy the spring planting! It truly does lift the spirits. Besides, I’m SICK of spring cleaning!!! Now off to the garden center to see what I can find for my front planter.
When you mentioned your front sun porch it reminded me that you also have a back shade porch. I know you don’t use that one as often but would love to see a video on decorating it for the season. Perhaps a viewer submission for shade porches for inspiration?
I love how the excitement and joy it brought to you to be able to do a planting project outside. I'm from MN and still buried in snow. Can't wait for warmer weather to be out planting. You are sunshine to me!
Hi I am a new subscriber all the way from Goa, India. I love watching your videos first thing in the morning. It truly brings a lot of positivity in my day esp when I watched the shopping video at the auction with your family, absolutely adorable❤ I started watching your videos when I was bed ridden due to a fracture in my foot and days were so so boring that the only thing that kept me going was watching your videos. I am a gardener so I have used few tricks that I learned from you such as assembling my succulents collection in a big dish for my living room display area. All I want to say is Thanks you so much for bringing your positive energy in my house 😊 Much love ❤and God bless🙏🙏🙏
Laura, everytime i relax to watch your gardner answer videos, i have noticed my 4 pups 2 poodles, shitsu, & lab/pit, seem to take a nap n r very relaxed, while i watch your videos
Yeah Spring , Morning Sweet Laura. here is our chance to do it all over again, My starts our ready for out side Sun , so am I , Looks so beautiful, Love it, Wanda
You know Laura, I think the reason I like your videos so much is because you don't make me feel so bad lol. I as well am a visual person. I will buy a ton of items for a project. Because like you, I have to see it in place to really know for sure which I will like the best. I am glad that Aaron doesn't give you any true grief over the matter though lol. He may tease sometimes, but we all know he is just teasing.
Good morning, Laura, from Windermere Florida zone 9b 🇺🇸 ❤ Happy 1st Day of Spring 🌻🐝🌸💗 50°this morning 🌄 but 70's and sunny 🌞 today 😎 Happy Gardening Everyone 👩🌾👍💗❤ ❤Peggy❤
Gorgeous window box and front porch plantings. Looked like Benjamin popped in for a second. Miss not seeing more of him. Also, love seeing Samantha help her momma out. Thank you for all your gardening inspiration and excitement throughout all the seasons.
Great idea to put some perennials in with the colourful spring bedding to make it go further and then be able to reuse those in the border, very thrifty. Like you Laura I have not put as much spring bedding in this year but like you yesterday I did plant up a container to give a splash if colour by the door. The colours in your window box are stunning. Love it.
My goodness, we are still under 4 feet of snow here north of Montreal! flower boxes? my Christmas decorations are still stuck in the soil. I took out the Christmas balls and everything else hanging on branches but for what is still stuck in the soil forget it! I hope that by Easter I will be able to put up Easter decor.... but flowers? forget it! not before 1st week of June! so I enjoy looking at your videos it gives me hope that one day I will get there. The basement is full of seedlings waiting for the Go sign!
This time last year, I was working my raised beds soil and planting my cool weather seeds. Zone 5b, Upstate New York (Saratoga Region). However, this year, we’re still waiting for the ten inches of snow we got last week to melt and the weather to warm up. All of my spring bulbs that had begun to push through before last week’s Nor’easter are now covered with snow. I have photos of the naturalized Starflowers in my back lawn blooming by this time. I am so anxious to get outside and get my hands in dirt! Seeing your beautiful spring colors reinforces that warmer weather is certainly on it’s way.
Great plants and love the colours. I thought you were going to plant the yellow plants I saw on Instagram. But regardless everything looks fantastic. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Hi Laura! The window box is so pretty! I love the colors of the primroses and pansies in with the other plants. The urns turned out pretty, too. I like the plant choices you used. Thank you so much for sharing!
As always beautiful job! For a brief second we got to see your view from the porch! I would love to see what you see out your windows and doors! I bet it is so pretty and satisfying!
What a beautiful video today with lots of beautiful plants. And everywhere you planted just looks so beautiful and just so good to see colours again after winter.
Wow those containers look great. I'm loving the primroses and pansies in the kitchen window box. Laura, I can relate to your not opening the kitchen window because you can't reach the latch. I have the same problem. Happy 1st Day of Spring everyone!
My snow drops are long gone the Daffodils are blooming I have being taking in bunches to put in a vase for weeks now Will be doing my window boxes soon
Laura, the way you assemble plants using color, texture and your wealth of knowledge about their growth habits is so inspirational. It's like a free class every time I watch you. Thanks for all the lessons and inspiration! Beautiful planters!!
Good morning. Beautiful containers. Love the strawberry pillows. The plants look so nice w them, and the mat. I was waiting for you to mention the pretty arrangement that was sitting on your grill. Did you make that? 🌼 Happy Spring.
I think we need more tall plants that show up when we look outside our kitchen window...its so pretty to look out onto something like those Heuchera blooms. Love your containers - as per ! The double peachy primrose are gorgeous.
The plants look absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see more flowers. This afternoon at 5:25P.M. EDT the spring equinox begins. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see you begin planting all around your property. Have fun!
See, your containers are so fresh and colorful that when walking up to your home how do you not smile with such beautiful color. Nice Laura well done bringing the spring out. Lovin it! Ty my friend
Good Morning! 🌞🌷I am so ready for Spring too!! I attempted to work outside but it still too cold! So I will be patient & wait! Your window boxes look so pretty, you are giving me inspiration!! 😃🌈⚘️💚
“ I can dig holes therefore I will plant” love Laura’s fighting spring spirit 😂🍓 🌺🙌
Need new merch with that on it!!! Lol
lol....that will be a tagline that will stick in my memory all day. We are going to warm up from 22, I will wait until its warmer. Come on Spring!
Same here, that would make a great line for t shirts, mugs, hoodies, etc. Gave me a good giggle too 😂
That is classic. Laura has great gardening spirit. We have 3’ of snow in the yard in Cochrane Alberta zone 2 but that is a call to plant. I can’t wait (but I will).
That is just the funniest saying ever 😅👏 And so absolutely perfect 😍💐
“I think I can dig holes, therefore I will plant” sums up this community perfectly! Happy Spring Laura!
Laura needs to make tshirt/coffee mug merch that says "I think I can dig holes, therefore I will plant!" ❤❤❤
Or "it's thawed, let's plant"😊
In my zone 7bNC, we can plant year round. The ground just doesn’t freeze here.
@graylagran im nc 8a and there are some things you can't plant in winter. The ground may not freeze but we do get freezing temps and ice
Yes love it Pam!!! And you too ❤
I need one!!!😂👍
