It is interesting how most of us gardeners appear to really enjoy watching the garden clean up. It is so relaxing and rewarding. I also agree that the shot of Laura pruning with the camera pointed up showing the clouds moving overhead was amazing! I am still too cold and snowy in upstate New York to do too much, but watching this video fed my soul.

Such a wonderful gift to be able to watch them grow and thrive over these past few years! You are doing such a great job raising them both in such a wonderful environment! What do you find that each of them love the most about gardening?💙🩷🪴🌱🍃🌸🍃🌺🍃

I just want to give Laura props for the way she films her vlogs. The shots, angles and progressions you come up with give your videos that extra punch you don’t see with others. The shot from below with the sky slowly rolling by. Genius.

The MUSIC was delightful AND that shot of trimming the rose with the camera on the bottom and view looking up through the bush and into the pretty cloud scene - what an interesting and different view of the prune. I think I saw more of the structure that way. Love that view!!!!! Thanks LAURA for a whole new vision of your plants and cleanup. And the yellow pots are a welcome to spring!

Ooohhhh it makes me Soo happy to see the new color and plants. We just got 2 inches of new snow today. I wanted to mow. I got to mow about 3 weeks ago when it was 52 here in Idaho Falls and ya'all should have seen the looks I got mowing about 2 feet away from the snow drifts. 😂Obviously you can't mow when it's wet. Everything around them was dry. Soo I cleaned all around them got my yard all tidyed up for now. I was just telling my bf that I can't wait to get my trimmer started up. 😂😂. Sooo this weekend is going to be beautiful. What miss Laura mentioned is that ranunculus ( I think may have spelled that wrong) violas - pansies are sooo hardy. I have experienced that with them. They are tough little flowers. Sooo just over the last week my day lillies and crocus and my love in a mist is all coming up. Also I just noticed yesterday that my clematis has buds. So exciting to see spring beginning in your gardens. Thank you for explaining what you did for the caryopteris! I need to get that done for my two little ones, so I very much appreciate your guidance. My daughter-in-law suggested to me one spring that I blow out the winter collection of debris in the base of my roses, and it made that part of the project very quick. I only do it that way if there's no tender, new, young growth. But am happy when I can. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us! Does anyone else also think Samantha takes after Laura's Mom? Such adorableness!

And I really liked the shots of your filming from below the rose bush showing the clouds racing by--such a interesting shot.

These children are such treasures and they will appreciate and love plants throughout their lives because they are being taught how to dress the garden, as God commanded Adam and Eve to do. I believe they are being taught to be grateful and to appreciate the beauty around them. These lovely things make us so happy as human beings and being surrounded by these God-given gifts make our souls yearn for all that is good and praiseworthy. They will seek the light as a result. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your garden life. I can't do what you do, but I appreciate seeing the results of hard work and loving kindness displayed among family members. Our family is grown now and so I love being a part of another growing family in and out of the garden. It makes my heart swell with joy and prods me to do something beautiful for someone else. Thank you for doing these videos. They make me want to do beautiful things.

My husband brought me some primrose. I planted them. The next it snowed. Those three plants are living it.

This was a fun video on a Sunday night. It is going to go down to 18 degrees in southern Wisconsin tonight. Some of my anemones have overwintered because we had snow when it was cold. So today, I covered them with any remaining snow that I could find and also used some cedar branches. I am trying to save last year's anemones as I am potting up both ranunculus and anemones for this spring that are presprouted in the basement. The violas, pansies and stock that are under grow lights are doing great and I can't wait to plant mine outside in April. So, I am busy gardening, but it's mostly inside yet.

Should do a few planters and let the kids pick out the flowers and plant them. ❤

Love watching how you plan out your flowerbed clean up. I started mine last week before the snow arrived. 8 inches here in Central Jersey. Hopefully it warms up by the end of the week to continue. Thanks Laura for your blast of energy and encouragement.

I love how the whole family is joining in. The cat, and the kids. What a wholesome, precious, rewarding experience. I love that the kids are part of the process. What you are teaching them there’s so much more than dropping a plant in a hole. Love it.

I love garden clean up. I like hearing the chopping, clipping and raking better than the music. I can’t wait to see color too.
