Guys, a lot of spanish speakers have said that the spelling of the letters isn’t correct. In the video I don’t claim to be spelling the letters, but rather writing down how they SOUND to an English speaker. I’m a high school Spanish teacher, I know how to spell the letters, but that doesn’t help us with pronunciation. Just wanted to clarify for people who might not have paid attention 😂
Veganomix Spanish This video was the easiest to follow and comprehend from the large group of videos I listened to, you stayed on topic, and the chart was most helpful. My Spanish speaking friend thought highly of it as an intro to speaking Spanish.
Thanks for this video please make some more videos as I trust you more than my teacher. They are teaching us so that we can pass the exam but I am actually passionate to learn this language. Please help in spreading your education as it is helpful to us please 👍🏻
Thank you so much! I am trying to learn Spanish all on my own. Which is really hard to do because I have nobody here to help me with pronunciation. I have seen many videos about the alphabet, trying to find the right one for me and this one is it! You truly help me with being able to practice my pronunciations. Thank you so very much! You explained it so perfect for someone who doesn't have a person to help me. This video is perfect for people like me who are trying to learn all alone. :)
Hi am teddy,me too am like you have been learning Spanish on my own without a turtor or a native speaker but apps are useful n RUclips lessons but go for basic lessons first, listen to podcasts, watch movies and learn through lyrics but no vocabulary in lyrics that's how am learning Spanish.
I tried many videos sir.but this is the first video I ever understood pronunciation perfectly. No words yo thank you sir.Its very natural kind of teaching spanish to english speakers.million thanks.
Sir I'm a begginer in learning Spanish and I'm very grateful that I found ur video and I think that with the help of ur videos I'll learn Spanish in a much better way . Thanks alot 🙏🙏😀. Loads of love from india ❤️
Dang, I just check to see the other videos you have made for Spanish but you only made a few more and aren't making anymore. :( that sucks but I am still VERY grateful for this video! I can't have my cake and eat it too. :p
Depends on where you’re from. In most regions of Spain, the “c” and “z” do make that “th” sound on some occasions. With the “c”, it’s before a soft vowel and with a “z” it’s all the time. Example: In Spain, ‘cerebro’ would be pronounced “the-re-bro” whereas “cobrar” takes on the hard “k” sound. “Zapato” would be “tha-pa-to” in Spain and “Hernandez” would end with the “th” sound. In Latin America, they do not have this phenomenon.
As a chilean the people eho speak spanish pronounce or Say the letters like this A Be Ce De E Efe Ge Hache I Jota Ka Ele Eme Ene Eñe O Pe Qu Erre Ese Te U Uve Doble ve Equis I griega Zeta But that's is in spanish and as far I know people eho speak English pronounce letters very different (sorry for My terrible English)
It feels like everyone is pronouncing something different. Por ejemplo You say z is say-ta A native Spanish speaker in another video, said it and I heard a like an English z
I think it pronounce and write like this..✌️ a-ah, b-beh, c-seh, d-deh, e-eh, h- a-che, l - ele, and so on.. Coz you pronounce it eh like beh and that's right, but you write as it pronounce like this b-(bay) bey...
So, NUMNUTZ, YOU DIDNT PAY ATTENTION at the beginning of the video? This is for people that speak English only and how the letters sound written as they sound to an English speaker.
I have a question. Why does your alphabet have 28 letters? I thought the alphabet had 30 letters with ch, ll, ñ, & rr. I was wondering why yours only had 28 letters as well as the letter ñ & rr, & not the other two?
You have a very good Spanish pronunciation (and I'm not a native), but what you write would sound different (like -ay would sound like -ei- that is like the English letter A). In one video they said - try not to "carry over" the wye sound too much :) But awesome video and pronunciation
My first and last name have a Y and not for the life of me can I pronounce it the traditional way you said you were taught. I have yet to take college level Spanish class that does it the easier “jay” way and I’ve failed or dropped from a failed first test, 6 times counting high school this has been helpful for my 7th go at it.

Thank you for breaking this down. It makes a lot of sense to a beginner. Once you know how to pronounce the letters the words kind of fall into place.
nice brother,very easy to understand
The word "E" is not in his vocabulary that he keeps on using "AY"
Yeah I was gonna say, pronuncing the Spanish "e" as "ay" would make a very strong English accent. It should be more like an "eh". As in "air".
