I speak terrible Spanish. I just don't have an ear for languages, but I've spent a lot of time in SA and Spain. I can tell you, the people have so much patience with me, and others who attempt to speak Spanish. They've helped me a lot. Plus many of the schools require English which is pretty much the language of international commerce.
I am sure you are waaaaay ahead of me in speaking Spanish, and I'd bet it'll all come back when you are immersed in it. I know my ability to converse gets better the longer I am in-country. Enjoy your trip . . . I'd bet your family would be wild to see you . . . treat you like a celebrity .. . .😉

I'm a Spaniard from Honduras who plans to learn Arabic which is more beautiful than Spanish although Spanish armour is more beautiful than Arabic garb.
@@barbatvs8959 im arab and i plan to learn spanish. actually, i moved to america when i was like 8 so i don't know complete arabic. i know 14 letters so far, and im learning more. however, since i spent 8 years listening to arabic, its very easy for me to grasp it. spanish is kinda different.
