Christ’s divinity is shown over and over again in the New Testament. For example, in John 5:18 we are told that Jesus’ opponents sought to kill him because he “called God his Father, making himself equal with God.”
In John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am”-invoking and applying to himself the personal name of God-“I Am” (Ex. 3:14). His audience understood exactly what he was claiming about himself. “So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple” (John 8:59).
In John 20:28, Thomas falls at Jesus’ feet, exclaiming, “My Lord and my God!” (Greek: Ho Kurios mou kai ho Theos mou-literally, “The Lord of me and the God of me!”)
In Philippians 2:6, Paul tells us that Christ Jesus “[w]ho, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped” (New International Version). So Jesus chose to be born in humble, human form though he could have simply remained in equal glory with the Father for he was “in very nature God.”
Also significant are passages that apply the title “the First and the Last” to Jesus. This is one of the Old Testament titles of Yahweh: “Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh of armies: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides me there is no god’” (Isa. 44:6; cf. 41:4, 48:12).
This title is directly applied to Jesus three times in the book of Revelation: “When I saw him [Christ], I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand upon me, saying, ‘Fear not, I am the First and the Last’” (Rev. 1:17). “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘The words of the First and the Last, who died and came to life’” (Rev. 2:8). “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense, to repay everyone for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the beginning and the end” (Rev. 22:12-13).
This last quote is especially significant since it applies to Jesus the parallel title “the Alpha and the Omega,” which Revelation earlier applied to the Lord God: “‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” (Rev. 1:8).
As the following quotes show, the early Church Fathers also recognized that Jesus Christ is God and were adamant in maintaining this precious truth.

Saint Agustine wanted to rearrange the words in John 17:3 because he couldn’t put his head around this verse. The term ‘’only’’ is exclusive which Jesus acknowledges to be the one true God.
Augustine changed it: "That they may know you and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent, as the only true God."
The Greek text simply does not corroborate Augustine’s Latin translation which suggests that the doctrine is a human construct rather than a result of rigorous biblical exegesis.

"The Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah ; and the Christians say, The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?"
(QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 30)

"They ask you about the sacred month - about fighting therein. Say, Fighting therein is great [sin], but averting [people] from the way of Allah and disbelief in Him and [preventing access to] al-Masjid al-Haram and the expulsion of its people therefrom are greater [evil] in the sight of Allah. And fitnah is greater than killing. And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able. And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally."

Islam religion of peace?
It appears as though Satan created Islam perhaps. I do not know, but I see what the Devil has to gain from having people "fight" & become violent in the last days, (because they would commit acts which could be unforgivable in Jesus's eyes & be sent to Hell for an eternity). Jesus preached to forgive & love others, while Muhammad preaches the opposite. How can these two people be from the same God?

It is not mentioned in Quran but in hadith. Islamic scholars have two opinion on the subject: 1) Jesus, peace be upon him, was saved by God and taken to a secure place where he died a natural death and he is not going to return to earth, and 2) Jesus, peace be upon him, was lifted alive, he is still alive and will return to earth, break the cross and all Christians will become Muslims following him. The second opinion has basis on some hadith.
However, personally to me the first opinion makes more sense because of the arguments presented in its favour:
The word ‘rafaa’ which means to ‘to lift’ is not limited to the use of to ‘take one up alive’ but it is also used to ‘raise in status’. It has been used in this sense in Quran itself. One of the invocations we make while sitting in between prostrations of Muslim prayer is ‘God raise me in status/ranks (in religion)’. Allah says in Quran: ‘Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit. If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allah does what He intends. (Quran 2:253)
The following verse of Quran makes it clear that Jesus, peace be upon him, has died and he like all other souls is in Alam- Al-Arawah which is like a sleep where they don’t have any knowledge of the world. When they will wake up on the Day of the Judgement they will not know what has passed in the world after them. Allah says: And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen (Quran 5:116)
Quran makes it clear that the religion has been completed. How can religion be complete if a world shaking divine miracle is yet to take place. Allah says in Quran: ‘…This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Quran 5:3)
However, it doesn’t matter what opinion do you believe in, the scholars agree that it makes no difference to a Muslim on what he is expected to do as part of the religion. There is no duty of Islam which is to be deferred waiting for the arrival of Jesus, peace be upon him. Quran leaves no doubt on fundamental obligations on mankind and Muslims.

In the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, the earliest times of Islamic theological jurisprudence Notation. Damascus and Baghdad were extremely rich in Arab-Christian theology activism! Unfortunately, many Muslim theologians have been influenced by the heritage of the people of the Book.

The book of revelation tells the full prophecy of Jesus return, written many years before the Quran. It ends with these words:"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll." Revelation 22:18 The Quran does exactly as this verse warns against.

Jesus was prophesied multitudes of times in the Old Testament. I read references to the end times in Islam and indeed it is almost entirely copied, even stating that Jesus will come back again!

I believe in the one God creator of everything, but im also someone that reasons and tries to use my (little :P) intellect and doesn't accept things if there are flaws in it. And as we know for a fact the bible has been edited revised and changed altogether many times in the past, therefore to me it cannot be true because people make mistakes or can have bad intentions and lie. that being said i do think there is truths in the bible, only no one can really know what they are for 100%. We don't know if what the bible says was the true message from God true Jesus. The same could be said for Hadith (things Muhammad(pbuh) supposedly said or did) in Muslim believe systems.

Alright that's what I believe, God came in a human flesh to dwell among us. He came as Jesus Christ. He came like a Human being so he had to be born like a Human through a female. Let me start to say i respect your opinion. I also never compared Adam with Jesus as a person/prophet, but only the way they were brought into the world.
As for the way you think Jesus was born, it's hard for me to believe that God would come to earth in human form to do all that. After all he created everything in and outside the universe, so again making someone pregnant would be easy.
Even if it happened the way you say it, don't you think that the text on what you base it is altered in history, and that the true message of Jesus has not been preserved accurately. When you look at the history of Christians and the church it is not hard to find out that the bible as we know it is altered for many reasons (mainly political) and lots of Gospels were not used and declared heresy, others were changed and altered. My common sense can not take the bible for the word of God or teaching of Jesus accurately.
But as long as we believe in the creator of all, God, and do good we will end up in a good place. But i will always use the reasoning and intellect that God gave us, and he shows very clearly in this world that the bible is not the most accurate teaching of a prophet from God.

As Christians we are seeing christians grow the fastest in Iran. And we are seeing the middle east grow fast. Many are coming because of seeing Jesus in dreams and visions. God is working over time. But so is Satan because he knows his time is short! Sadly many aren't saying for the fear of being persecuted but if you keep reading, don't fear the one who kills the body, but the are not able to take the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Jesus "returned" in AD 70 and "return" is a prophetic figure of speech. When you are Spirit there is no space-time and Jesus was with his disciples until the end of the world of the Jews, just as he promised. Moreover, Jesus' meaning is that he would manifest his presence (Gk Parousia) in a special way that would make it plain as daylight that he was now judging the world of Israel. What he said to the Jews, was not to us.

We Orthodox Christians believe that there is one God who exists in three hypostases which are distinct from each other. Each hypostasis is God in His entirety. We believe that all three hypostases of God share the same essence. (Essence means substance. Iron is a substance. Paper is a substance. Water is a substance, etc.) The essence of God is unknown and unknowable. If you were to divide the divine essence into infinitesimally small particles, each such particle would belong to all three hypostases. We know God through His energies: His love, mercy, justice, wisdom, etc. We believe that Jesus is the incarnation of the second hypostasis of God. We believe that Jesus has a divine nature and a human nature. These two natures are joined together without change. That means the divine nature still possesses all of the properties of the divine nature. The divine nature is still omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, etc. The human nature is like any other man's human nature. It is not omnipresent, not omnipotent, not omnisicient, etc. His human nature was mortal. It could die. His divine nature is uncreated and immortal. It cannot die. We believe that the two natures are joined together without division or separation. It is not possible to separate the divine nature from the human nature. Ever since the incarnation which occurred when His human nature was conceived in His mother's womb, the two natures are eternally bound together. We believe that his human nature is created. We believe that the divine nature permeates the human nature. The two natures are joined together without mixture. We do not believe that Jesus is a hybrid of God and man. We do not believe that Jesus is half God and half man. We believe that the two natures are joined together hypostatically by diffusion, not confusion. The Person who has Jesus' body, soul, and spirit is the same Person who shares the divine essence with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the divine nature of Jesus enriched His human nature. We believe that the Second Person of the Godhead became incarnate for our salvation. We all die. Because we are mortal, we sin. (This is the opposite view of Western Christians.) Jesus died in His humanity, but not in His divinity. As Man, He could die. As God, He cannot die. He suffered in His humanity, but not in His divinity. Since the two natures are joined together without division or separation, it was impossible for Him to remain dead. In time and space, His soul was outside of His body. Outside of time and space, His soul was still joined to His body. He trampled down death by death. Because of His death and resurrection, it is possible for us to be resurrected immortal. We must participate in the divine energies. We stress theosis and union with God in our spirituality. We believe that we are saved by God's mercy, but we must still "work out our salvation with fear and trembling." (See Philippians 2:12.)

Dear Proud Muslim: For any human to become a Muslim it is necessary to believe In the Oneness of God (ALLAH), to believe in Prophet Muhammad as his last messenger, all the Books, Malaika, all Rasools (and should not differentiate between the Rasools) and Last day (read last two verses of Sura Al-Baqara).
