Surfing Big Swell in Las Flores! El Salvador

This spot is seriously consistent, with a killer right point break. Picture this: a sand point directly in front of the hotel, offering up mechanical waves with a hollow takeoff, especially at low tide. And the best part? Rides can stretch up to a whopping 300m!
But here's the thing - Las Flores has a bunch of personalities depending on the swell size and tide. When the waves hit 6-8ft (face heights) or even bigger, and it's low tide, it's game on for experienced surfers. Trust me, it's a challenge worth taking.

I've been there eleven times in the 1980s and 1990s. Surfed alone up and down the coast. Stayed in La Libertad and seldom ran across another surfer. Cool video and it brought back some great memories - just sad to see the lineup so crowded.
