4:25 WOW! That is a terrifying point. Every time you have to start an EV session over with a Debit card, it will freeze more money in your account. One is $40, but 3 times would be $120. That is horrible. I recognize that some people don't have credit cards, but that is a great argument for not using a Debit for EV charging if they do.

Being able to auto charge should be mandatory for every charging provider. Also, get rid of charging apps and tariffs. Please, EU, intervene in this nonsense like with charging standards for phones!
well not all car can handl e auto charge. and first time you do the Setup the auto charge it is NOT THAT easy. BTW i have 20000 km in differnt evs, Still not as easy to use som Ev chargers :D btw Tesla is the Easiest even for non teslas. :)
Autocharge doesn't work for non Tesla though. I kind of found it easy to set up, you just tell the system you're about to plug the car it, it reads the MAC and that's it.

Petrol pumps might do the same, but you might fill up once on a long journey. With most TVs you'd have to stop several times more.

Totally agree. People should be able to recharge with card, or even cash, no apps needed. And it needs to work as well as paying with an app.

They have. They're mandating contactless from next year. The UK have copy and pasted the same legislation.
