I just got my 1948 chronograph on the steel Milanese mesh bracelet for an absolute steal, around US $700. I really like it. It’s surprisingly thin for an automatic chronograph.

How’d you get that deal? Holy moly

Glad you changed the strap. The original doesn't look a bit supple at all. The watch it's self is stunning imo and as you said their heritage range is on point 👌

Good looking watch James. Congrats on getting something you don’t see every day. Classy dial. I could live with the date, but not the hand issue. I mean it’s not a Seiko after all. 😉

Why decorate a movmnt and make a see through caseback....and then Block it out ? Pretty pathetic!

Date complications are just too dang useful for me to knock any watch for having one.

Great looking piece fully understand about the date probably should of left it off the dial, otherwise its a well balanced dial to enjoy

That's a nice leather strap where did you get it? I heard about the spring bar causing stress with a non-curved strap I'm not sure if thats true; I plan on picking this model up to do the same w/ the strap.

do the curved spring bars make it difficult to find straps that will work? thanks!

Wow, I was ready to pull the trigger until you mentioned the crystal. That’s a personal deal breaker for me. Otherwise it a near perfect watch. Oh well. Great vid 👍🏼 subbed

Handsome watch. Would be better with no date, but I agree it (& hand issue) wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either.... Funnily enough, I've had the same issue with Tudor leather deployant clasps digging in because they curve too much.
    Cheers mate 👍🏻👍🏻

The big let down (for me) isn't the position of the date but the Roman numeral 12. Not sure if it's because it is either too large (it competes with the Tissot logo underneath), or just inconsistent with the whole dial.

    • @greggusan

On a dressier watch I like roman numerals. But yeah, this kind of bugged me about this watch. Too big? No other numerals around the dial? Guessing the designers were trying to address an emptiness in that area, but something about it is just a little off

It's a real beauty, I do believe I just got unlucky with the QC of mine with the hands. But a point to mention nonetheless.

Seems like if you're going to make RUclips videos you might want to get the basics of focus figured out?
