The statement in the StarTribune really takes the cake: ""Police shot the wrong guy," Thomas Hoyhtya, Clint's father and the homeowner, told the Star Tribune. "They kicked in the door, he was in the back and probably playing video games. It was his day off."
We can all see the video footage and it's very very clear that wasn't how it went down. They announced they were there, he refused to come out, he started shooting first. I guess having bodycams really helps when people come up with all kinds of stories afterwards.
Looks like it went down that way to me
Why should he have come out?
Because they had a warrant and there are laws.. if you don't like the laws try to change them, live with them or you can find someplace new.
The star only wants to put propaganda out. They don't want the truth out there... then how can they promote hate and division... especially against police....
The star is owned by the far left ....
The star wants you to believe all criminals are victims !!!
They refused to print the FACT FLOYD OD.. Floyd was NOT MURDERED .. NOT THE NARRATIVE the state liberals wanted the world to know.
They lied to everyone about Floyd ... causing this issues we see today around the country...
He said that because his son was the person they were initially looking for. The person on the warrant was for a guy who was squatting at the house prior. When cops were there, the son just so happened to be there. The Dad thinks his son may have been suicidal or something imo, because his son has no reason to hide or not answer the door etc because he wasn't on the warrant. Unless maybe the son did something terrible that nobody knew about and assumed they were there for him
Well obviously the welcome sign was a lie.
your welcome, unless you come guns drawn, gloved up, banging on the door making threats... at that point is doesnt matter what you say... what uniform your in, you have declared yourself a threat to their life... your not acting like law enforcment, but thigs attempting a home invasion... thats what happened basically...

This first officer's cam footage should be a training video on how to react in these situations. Calming, not overwhelmed and clearly in control of himself. He's a combat veteran or has at least been shot at before in my opinion
Took him forever to figure out how to put on that sling. Someone skipped range day.
Idk man McNamara took one to the chest and stayed in it.. and was pretty calm, the guy that came up next to him was getting to be a bit much but I get it you never know how you’re gonna react under fire veteran or not… unreal, shit Happened not far from where I live.. EYE OPENER for sure
Not saying the first guy wasn’t calm.. I mean his hand was dripping pretty good he definitely did better then how I would have handled that.. think both body cams would make great examples
there's no way this guy is a combat vet. he took the dumbest possible approach and got shot.
@@chalupabatman311it’s high stress everyone reacts differently to it.. kinda hard to criticize someone when you have probably never been in this kinda situation. Being shot at is no fun at all.

Do you know why the police came to his house? You’ve got all of these police officers at this man’s house and this is his castle. He has a right to protect himself. Does anybody know why the police came to his house? Is there any video of the man shooting at the police when it states That he was shot dead by the police now you know that a body cam with a man with a rifle pointing it directly at him, shooting him and killing him will show you proof but guess what there’s nobody cam footage think about that the blue line gang
This truly breaks my heart. I’ve left 15 messages or so, and it truly breaks my heart. You’ve got all of these people praise and the police and this and that but they have no clue what’s going on. All they do is read and read and read you know you got a guy that’s bleeding from the nose he thinks he got shot in the face, but he never got shot in the face. All it was was the kickback from the gun, which broke his nose so his actions caused him to get a bloody nose and everybody’s like oh my God he got shot in the face. No, he did not. He didn’t know how to hold a gun and then when the kickback came from the gun, it broke his nose think about that for a second people.

I’d say he definitely did intentionally do that since he not only did shoot 1st time after yelling” wtf you want” but then shot up 2 other officers 5 mins later.
Since he repeatedly fired at and actually struck at least one of the deputies with gunfire, I'd say it was an attempt to end their lives. His motive for doing that to literally any other person are kind of a moot point.

Stop blurring everything out omfg
It’s Fox News
You are lucky that you were able to post a comment here! More 'land of the free' business with online lately. Person has to spell everything backwards and upsidedown in order to comment - even if it isn't in the least big offensive or the like.
The guy is dead, and cops keep screaming at him to move! Wtf
He had armor on and they don’t know if he is 100% hit and he was armed clearly. It’s happened more then you even know clearly someone act shot and dead and when approached come up and start shooting. And that was giving commands to show his hands and lucky he had been unalived so that he wasn’t able to keep trying to kill others. Kind of a best case scenario in my opinion. It’s shame he did what he did and the warrant wasn’t even for him it was for someone else that had been living in the home. Seems as if he wanted to go out by officers killing him i think
Shot ain't dead. Laying down ain't dead. Even doctor's can't pronounce you dead from 100 yards away.
You know he's dead because you're watching a RUclips video from your couch. Cops don't know he's for sure down.
@@triplehfarmsllc7348 Honestly, i think the dude was probably in the middle of a cod match losing, got tilted and when the cops came to the door pounding he just lost it and grabbed a gun.
@@mattheawfrederick5696 your probably right 😂
Those police have a whole lot of COURAGE. I hope they got that psychopath and locked him up. I hope the police who were shot are ok and may the Lord Jesus Christ be with them always.
wouldnt jesus be with the psychopaths and the degenerates as well as the cop? I mean isnt that the ultimate power of christ? Fuck everyone else who is bad let them rot? You are so wrong on many levels.
Needs a quick refresher on taking proper cover, what did u expect to happen
Total disgrace!
Right in front of the door?
Must not be well trained.
Easy standing targets
You don’t know what you’re talking about. Grats
@@nunyah8705 This video was a master-class of what not to do. These officers were either poorly trained, not trained, or playing cowboy. He isn't wrong, they were dumb.
Doesn't say why they wanted him in the description, probably because it was total bullshit.
Relax "knee taker"... you'll get no "Fentanyl Saint" here.
Look it up, it was on the news and it's in all these comments.
Endangering the lives of everyone in that neighborhood for one person. It was all peaceful till cops showed up. Was it worth it?
This lady is still in the basement 😂😂
Why the sneak attack,. Parking ticket? Foreclosure,? So many of these raids are done for unnecessary reasons
They weren't even there for that guy. They were serving a warrant on someone else that had broken a restraining order and that happened to not be there.
They need Clint Eastwood… “Make my day punk“. 👮♂️ ☠️
So many things went wrong here…..wow
You can look it up every single month at the very least this has happened here. The locations show that those are actually the most dangerous places rather then mpls. Atleast you can aay they arent being ambushed and shot at even in a city where they arent wanted
WTF are you talking about? This is Minnetonka (where I live), the city with the least crime in the Metro Area.
@@AmusedChild Took the words right out of my mouth. 😂
@@AmusedChild same as each and every one of the other cities these bi weekly raids been in, am I right? Well you had the north side one when they guy barracaided himself and the Brooklyn center one. Seem like those were the start couple yrs ago.
@@AmusedChild its obviously not that safe if those the places people willing to hold court with whole swat and police forces. Even gangmembers surrender or run they dont battle it out.
Can they get NON-EMERGENT traffic off the channel? Good grief!!!
Standing in the fatal funnel right outside the front door knocking just drives me nuts. Surprised they didn’t take rounds
Thank the Police, we don't have to deal with these psychos ourselves
🥺 man they got themselves and many innocents in so much danger... verify verify verify, always de escalate! and be respectful... never make threats when your sopposed to be there to check on people...
Deescalation is never appropriate in a gunfight... why don't you pull your head out of your ass...
Come bathe in the waters of lake Minnetonka Charlie Murphy.
All I could think about was Dave...
Hhahahaha!
The cool refreshing waters
