Your tutorial is simply the best of any I have seen. I love how you focus closely in on stitches and describe instructions precisely. Thank you so very much and I love this spa washcloth. I am now a devoted fan of your videos.
You have such a lovely voice and nice pace through the video. Thanks! Your voice sounds unhurried and you give slow careful directions and great demonstrations of each stitch. Thanks!
Cotton is not at all as absorbable as linen and the even better and antibacterial is hemp yarn. You can buy it in a 6 strand count or thicker 8 strand count very cheaply from Cavvas.com in Romania. They also have hemp tissues. I buy it in 6 strands mostly and in rolls of 2 kilos, but they can make it how you like.
@@HappeeKnits I hope you will try it. You will never go back to cotton ever after again. I think 1 kilo cost around 20€. You could easily buy 10 kilo, in 2 kilo rolls. I got most in 6 strands and one in 8 strands. I used it to tie big things together but it could be nice to knit a skirt in 8 strands. I use one a day, dry it on a heater and put it in the wash bin with bed linen, so I have many. I like to have a clean one that don't smell of bacteria. It is a joy to have and I make some also for the bathroom and very small ones for cleaning shoes. I use pins 4,5 mm, 25 cm long and I knit so many I give them to family. I attach the loose ends three times.
Thanks for turning me onto this pattern. It is lovely and easy. I do wonder though, the pattern has three knit stitches at the beginning of row 5, but 2 at the end of row 5. This creates an assymetry in border. Why not add a stitch to make the total of 38 stitches and do 3 knit stitches at each end?
Thank you so much!!! Your directions were so clear and I love how my washcloth looks. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I am new to all of this and this project was a boost to my knitting confidence
I have been knitting different wash clothes for a couple of months, now! Your tutorial seems to be the simplest pattern. Thank you very much and I also own a counter just like yours! Thank you, Beverly S. North Carolina ❤️😇❤️😇
excellent video! thank you so much for this beautiful pattern. your voice is so calm and clear. i have one question which might seem a bit silly.....why is it called a 'spa' cloth? thank you so much. i will definitely make this.☺
I call it that because it looks fancier than just your regular washcloth. Technically it is a standard washcloth, but with a little bit more of a high end look.
+Happee Knits Hello! thank you for replying. I have made a couple and they are so.pretty and really good for face washing . best wishes to.you and your channel.
Thank you for this pattern. It reminds me a little of triple crochet stitch. I can't wait to try this one. You're a natural born teacher! Plus your camera work is amazing.
Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. You are so patient in your delivery which helps us beginners. This is the second video of yours I have followed and been able to replicate your patterns. Many thanks. You have a gift for showing and teaching and bringing us along.
Just found your channel. I’m a self taught knitter and your videos are clear and concise and the angles showing your work are very visible (hand & needle placement), thanks so much for that. I also like that you make videos understandable for beginners and enjoyable experienced knitters. I’ve watched all your videos and come back often for reference. Thanks so much!! Recently made your dishcloth. Video quality is excellent but the way and sound is good. Waiting to see more projects, stitches and hints.
Just discovered your channel. I haven't knit in a while and want to get back to it this winter. This will be a good little project to get my skills honed again. Thanks for the tutorial. Great vid. Subscribed.
Good Morning I just wanted to let you know that i love your teaching techniques in your videos. Everything is so precise and clear to understand. Again thanks !!! Keep the education coming. I’ve been knitting now for two years I love it.
Hi Martha. Thank you so much for checking out my channel. I appreciate it. Its kind of you to let me know how much you like the tutorials. Stay tuned. I have quite a few planned this year.
You're awesome! I didn't realize why my washcloths were not squared. I bind off to tight. Thank you for your videos, I'm new to knitting and you are so helpful.
Hi - can you make a tutorial on how to knit a loganberry dish cloth. I have seen other tutorials, everyone has their style of knitting that can sometimes be confusing. What I like about your tutorials is that you really take time to show each loop instead of rushing through it.
Thanks for your comments. I really try to show every stitch in my tutorials because knitting shouldnt be confusing. It should be fun. As far as the loganberry dish cloth, I found one pattern for the loganberry dishcloth on ravelry and knit picks website. Is that the one you are referring to?
Jenny Serna Hi Jenny. If I remember the pattern correctly, you should cast on in multiples of 7. So you could cast on 21 or 28 sets for a smaller washcloth. I hope this helps.
+Karen Sheets Hi Karen. Yes you can make prayer shawls with left over yarn. Depending on what type of yarn you have, it could make a pretty striping effect. Also be sure to use the same weight of yarn throughout the project.
+Sandy Otto Bryant Hi Sandy. That is not my understanding. I have always used the long tail cast on for all of my projects and it should not count as row 1. It would be the same for any cast on. The cast on row is just that. It only represents the cast on row. The long tail cast on makes a nicer edge, but you should not count it as row 1. I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
This is a great pattern and one I haven't seen before. Your tutorial is easy to follow so thank you. I can already tell that this is going to be a favorite.
Love your video and tutorial but I am a little confused about number of stitches you cast on. Written pattern says to cast on 35, but in the video you instruct to cast on 37.
Hello. You are right. I have had this video up for a couple of years now and you are the only one that caught it. It should be 35 stitches just like in the pattern. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for letting me know.
Happee Knits not a problems at all. I went with casting on 35. I can only knit dish clothes and this is my favorite. I absolutely love it and you do an excellent job on your tutorial. Thank you so much.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is the first video ... of many... that I have seen on RUclips that was beautifully explained and easy to follow - I made a smaller size, but it all came out really well! SIMPLY THE BEST! I love it!
Thank you for the wonderful video. Am I missing something? You said 37 stitches, but the pattern states 35 stitches. I need to make this larger, because everyone in my family has large hands. I was thinking about adding 12 extra stitches and slip the first and last stitches as if to knit. What us your suggestions for creating a larger spa washcloth?
Thanks Elaine. I added a disclaimer to the video, stating I made a mistake when saying the stitch count. I think you have to increase in multiple of 5 for the math to work. So I think adding a slip stitch at the beginning and end and then doing 2 pattern repeats would fine. Is this what you were thinking of?
Your tutorial is simply the best of any I have seen. I love how you focus closely in on stitches and describe instructions precisely. Thank you so very much and I love this spa washcloth. I am now a devoted fan of your videos.

What multiple of stitches do I cast on to change the size. Love the washcloth*****
You need to increase in multiples of 5. On the yo over row, you will still need the first three stitches and the last two stitches.
I new at knitting and love your video. I was wondering can I make this washcloth smaller? I subscribe I feel your a great teacher...
Jenny Serna Hi Jenny. If I remember the pattern correctly, you should cast on in multiples of 7. So you could cast on 21 or 28 sets for a smaller washcloth. I hope this helps.
