Thanks for the update Herbie, I'm really considering buying this bike based on all your reviews, I'm researching if there is a rear luggage rack available for this bike before I make my decision.
You’re welcome, if you’re looking for a good scooter then I think you’ll be very happy with this one. It honestly surprised me, I am not really a scooter guy so I bought it for my wife but I find myself wanting to ride it more often 😁 I’m sure you can find a rack for it, if you can’t then let me know and I’ll see if I can help. Good luck with your decision
You mean Mrs Herbie, yeah she’s getting a little more comfortable on it but still isn’t ready to take the motorcycle safety course yet. She needs more time practicing starting and stopping before hitting the road. Thank you, I think it is too and is a lot of fun to ride. It’s my favorite bike to ride most of the time.
@@herbiesgarage681 we've been thinking about getting one, we just bought a 2019 Jayco Jay flight and thought it would be nice to have a small bike to ride around Carlyle. Love your videos "Mr. Herbie". I edited the first comment.
@@BreakingFreeRV Awesome, ours is a 2010 Jayco Jayflight and really like it. 28ft is a little long but the old truck pulls it. 😊 The KPV is a bigger scooter than I thought but man it’s really nice Thank you for the edit 👍🏻
@@herbiesgarage681 ours is 32 foot, I was a little nervous the first time I pulled it, but my 04 Ford Super Duty 5.7 liter had no problem, a little slow up hills when starting out like getting on highway.
Have you ever had problems with your KPV when it gets through some heavy rain? Like even when you're steady with your throttle, it kinda slows down on its own and eventually shuts off.
@@drcrow30 Hello, honestly we haven’t even ridden it in the rain yet. That sounds to me like an electrical problem. That’s interesting, with all the components covered in plastic I’m not sure where the water could be entering. Is the inner splash guard on the rear wheel, in other words nothing has been removed from factory design?
@@herbiesgarage681 I haven't done any modifications with my KPV. If you're pertaining to the small sheet of rubber that's supposed to cover the throttle body, then yes, it's still there. Y'know, the one that's attached right below the seatbox with 3 pegs to hold in place. Everything else is exposed when you look from the back. The O2 sensor is weirdly placed too just behind the pillion peg. I plan to cover it with something like a plastic or a sheet from an inner tube of a bike tire. I might do that as well with the kickstand connector just behind the fork... which is kinda exposed too than cutting the wire and moving it elsewhere. I also disabled the ISS switch, I just had to cut it just below the button cos it was heating up at the soldered area evidently. Anyway, thank you for responding. I have been studying our dear KPV through your videos. HUUUUUUUUGE HELP. BEST OUT THERE!
@@stanwbaker no I haven’t, I’m new to the cvt world on motorcycles and the bike is still new. I will start diving into it for maintenance pretty soon, like valve adjustment, gear oil check and change, check clean and possibly adjust the cvt belt and area. Thanks

Nice night ride! The road is well illuminated, thanks for sharing Herbie 👍

Thanks for the kpv updates.

Great video, Herbie. The bike looks great. One question, though: do they make LED-lighted cup holders? I'm just asking for a friend.
@@ToddBinNM Good question Todd 🤔 I’ll have to look into that because you have to be able to find your cup in the dark 😂
Is Mrs. Herbbie getting more comfortable on it yet?
