Look pretty good, has a dying fish effect or leech look. Like was commented, if a toothy fish attacks it, it'll cut the line since the line is running across the lure.
Maybe use fluorocarbon

A lot of mayflies move throughout the water in this manner. This is good.
Probably work best in a leech design. I personally don't want the fish biting my line to much though

@@porkchopspapi5757 my guess is because berkley big game only comes in mono. Not the best leader if you are fishing for pike or musky. Just my $.02
This is similar to the inu rig. Personally i would get a pack of senkos and some swizzle straws and set up a few worms witg the inu rig. To be extra fancy super glue the straws into the worm.

What if you used a steel leader? ..might be too heavy ???
Tried it in a river and the current was strong enough it wouldn’t unfold and just formed a rubber ball!! I guess it’s for calm waters only!!

Several correct comments about fish's teeth biting line. A steel leader might solve, but would it impede the action? I think this is an interesting lure, but I wouldn't even try it with just fish line.

I took apart a steel wire and this is the ultimate connection...won't bite the line now....
It looks like it might have a harder time hooking a fish the way the hook has to be placed. And if you do hook it I'm assuming deep in the gut so I'm guessing it's not the best for a quick catch and release.
Japan came up with this a long time ago ....snags and twist ups were the main issue I recall .
i wonder if you put a small barrel swivel on a short but thick-gauge fluorocarbon leader. i bet it would perform admirably

It doesn't give them any line to bite anymore normal rigging.
Fish with teeth will break all fishing line, that's why you used a wire-leader.

You can catch a bass with a block of wood with a hook on it. Doesn’t mean it’s ideal.
Problem with rigs like this is that it’s SO DIFFICULT to get a good hookset.
I never listen to negative or positive comments. I put it to the test myself.
