- This is a live recording of The Killers' "Human" by the Cinematic Pop Orchestra and Choir. Featuring Spencer Jones. This cover includes 100-person orchestra/choir and a magnificent new arrangement.
The Killers are one of our favorite bands of all time and they influenced us musically quite a bit over the last decade. We really love (what we interpret) as the deeper meaning in the lyrics of Human. This song was right at the top of our list of songs to cover when we started this project.

"Human" is a catchy song, for sure, but the underlying meaning and lyrics are particularly powerful for us. The combination of a great song with powerful lyrics made this a "must-cover" song for us. We hope this version resonates with you!

I love this song so much and to hear it in this format takes it to a whole other level for me. I LOVE seeing the musicians give it their all- specifically the soloist and the cellist who is jamming throughout the whole thing (1:50, 3:05). Makes me want to see this performance live!!!
+Emily Davis Having dated a pop cellist for a couple of years, I can tell you that pop musicians using classical instruments often is magical. The reservedness of classical orchestras disappears, and the emotion really comes out.
Why am I just now hearing such beauty, this belongs in a museum for this masterpiece. If I was there my applaud would be so loud so hard that my hands would be red and hurting.

Everybody's entitled to their own opinion but I personally can't understand people's gripes with the vocalist. I love Spencer Jones's contribution to this amazing effort; not only his clear, clean vocal quality but the earnest and endearing dedication he brings to the performance. All in all an extremely worthwhile project which I will enthusiastically follow.

Buying this on iTunes right now. I love love all the Cinematic Pop songs on my playlist. My teenagers listen to them constantly too. These songs are catchy like a pop song, but with so much more power and depth. The background orchestration of these songs enrich my soul while I listen, like this is how music is suppose to sound! Seriously can't say enough about how much I love the quality of this music. So different than anything else out there.

Very nice. The piece sweeps through the measures and chord progressions nicely, and I like the flute recreating the original song's guitar riffs.
