8:55 There is a ZT version of the Bel-Air? 9:14 Although the Bugout’s blade shape is superb, one of my favorites, I think Benchmade should made a sheep’s foot version. Thanks for the video, Rob!
It’s up on the Compatibility list, but they note it without the included washers (Kershaw Bel Air (No washers) - 3/16" - 3/64" - 15) Bearings: www.skiffmadeblades.com/products/cage-bearings-pivot-3-16-br-ceramic-bearings-3-64-15-ball?_pos=7&_fid=f4da15656&_ss=c Thick washers might be these: www.skiffmadeblades.com/products/thick-washer-set-pivot-3-16-br-thickness-1mm
@@raiderfan367 I just wasn't used to crossbar lock knives. All my other knives have fall-shut action. This knife does not. I ended up poking the tip into the palm of my hand. I had just sharpened it too! 😅
@@Bobs_Pocket_KnivesOh damn, I’ve definitely done that a time or two with a different crossbar knife. Due to the inherent one-handed manipulation of these and similar locks, knife makers really need to engineer an extra 1/3-1/2” into the base of the handle. I just accidentally hit “purchase” on one of these, and I really have high hopes for it. I’ve been waiting for the USA Duralock to show. Magnacut at the price is just a bonus (will be my first knife in MC)
It’s one of my faves. I carry the Lander 2 all the time. I love Magnacut so I can’t wait for my new Bel-air, but all things considered I believe S35VN is just as good of an option, especially with it being a bit cheaper. Only thing you really lose is a liiiiittle bit of toughness. Knafs is super underrated
Rob, I love your channel and your reviews ❤️ Your email wouldn't work for me? So I posted under RUclips to actually show you my Cortex XL and mini fsd-i. I hope you get a chance to see that I actually have these knives 🤣
@@TWknives Thank you. I think maybe Rob and other viewers on his live thought I was lying about my Cortex XL and Mini FSD-I? The videos I posted sucked but I hope it clears up any doubts from Rob or anyone else?
@@BDevi0us I don’t think anyone doesn’t believe you. Was just poking fun at you commenting over his $400 slip joint 😂 videos looked good but comments were turned off. I subbed to ya though.

Belair holds the bearings inside the blade, not inside the frame and it has washers over the bearings... This brings to blade play very fast and thats a bad design, not for a 140$ knife. Just because of that ill go with bugout. This is a bad designed knife...
I bought this knife for my 74yo dad, he as arthritis in his hands, and he loves how easy this knife is to manipulate and now has become his fav, edc
Oh, man, that’s a beautiful story!! Rock on for your dad!!!
Bel air one of my favorites out there
An exceptional knife. I own over a hundred high end of various brands, and this became my favorite one instantly.
Definitely a cool lil blade, thanks for sharing brother 🤙🏽
Thank you!!
Just an FYI, the thumbnail text should say Bel Air.
Yup, and fixed. Thank you.

What’s the name of that bench made you are reviewing. I can’t find it. Thanks.
Ha-ha. That’s because it must be too inexpensive to be a Benchmade and made in the USA. RIGHT?
Sweet knife 🔪
Appreciate it. 🎉
Really liked this knife. I bought one for my sister. Of course I played with it first 😎
Yeah, it’s a super great competitive USA made knife! I like it a lot, too!
I love how thin the blade is but damn. It’s just so small. I hope they make an xl version with skeletonized liners
Ive heard rumors that Benchmade may be considering a Bugout XL, so one never knows.
Any idea what thickness of Skiff PB washers would fit?

@@Robs_Nerdy_Knives Awesome, thanks much!!
I like this little knife- It shold be on my list
Agreed!!
I know it's not the knife's fault, but my Bel-Air gave me a cut that required 3 stitches and now I don't carry it anymore... 😅😂
Bummer… stupid sharp knives. I hope you’re healing. 😮
I just got mine. How did you cut yourself with it out of curiosity. Did it fall out of your hand or open up in your pocket?

Knafs Lander 2 is OEM’d by Kizer!

Well the Lander 2 and 3 are. The Lander original was done by QSP. All are great knives.
I have this knife. ZT is made my kershaw that's why it's on bearings!!
Yup, and a good one, too. Finally glad to see ZT coming out with some new stuff.
@@Robs_Nerdy_Knives their numbers confuse me lol
I think they confuse us all. I need a magic decoder ring for their models. LOL.
I’ll take it
That emblem means it’s an in house design
Right on!
Looks like a bugout or deka competitor
100%, and a strong one at that.

Not at all. I was very excited for you and more interested in your thoughts about them now you have them in hand.
Because of the belly, that would be a modified wharny. It's too pokey to be a sheep's foot. I really like that blade shape.
Agreed. Can we agree on modified?
Modified wharnytanreverseleafspeyfoot?? That's the most accurate blade shape definition.

Well, if true, then I guess a knife 2x the price is worth it if that is critical for you. I own/have owned both and like them both.
