I have a 2010 TT it has 73K miles on it. No plans on changing it out... I feel the same about Broncos and Jeeps. IF I were to "upgrade", I would do the Lexus GX and take it everywhere I take my FJ. 😊
I'm not ready to comment on EV's or Hybrids, I've never even sat in one. 🤣 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro 2.4 Turbo Hybrid making 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. this engine is shared with the all-new Land Cruiser. and it gets a combined 27 MPG. And then there's the Porsche GT4 ePerformance! I didn't get the first iPhone or FJ, so I doubt I'll be the first GX or LC
@@UncleFjester I am sort of in the same boat. Until the reliability of the hybrid/electronic components are tested by those that are braver than I, I just can't do it man. I totally understand everything in regard to HP and Torque. I think the numbers are impressive for such considerably small engines. But the battery technology is just not "there" yet. EV's are very bad for the environment, way worse than ICE's are. I am ok with not having all of the creature components that require electrons to make them work. I drove a 1st gen Taco with manual everything for 30 years, I loved it. Reaching across the bench to roll down the window was OK for me LOL. The simplicity of the old rigs is one of the reasons why I love my FJ and my LC80. As somebody that troubleshoots, repairs and maintains stuff for a living, I will always take mechanical over electronic components. I am looking too because I am going give my daughter my wife's car soon, and I am thinking Mrs. FJdad would look rather dashing in the Lexus GX 🤣
I have a clean title 2013 Fj TT, I considered a newer vehicle (Toyota) but the prices are ridiculous, and the number of computers/sensors that will fail and leave you stranded is mind boggling...I'm keeping this truck until I'm dust...and it will still be running like a top. Peace
Keep the fj. I bought a 2007 last year. I’ve owned a 2020 Tacoma off road…2018 dodge 2500 Cummins. Along with Subarus. Other Cummins and anything between. Fj has been probably one of my favorite vehicles to own.
Ha Ha, I totally agree! mine has 300k and I rescued a couple in a new Subaru last weekend whose battery was dead and they thought my FJ was a "new car, it rode so nice". I would never change either! Good video!
I love those new Land Cruiser’s, but not as much as I love having that FJ title in the safe and going years without a payment. If I were to do anything, it might be an older LX570, but I’d still keep the FJ.
I agree that the newer vehicles have gotten way too big! The new Land Cruisers and Lexus look super sweet, but that branch doesn’t care about you $60k+ purchase! I think you’re right, you’ve been spoiled and found your perfect match! I would keep it? 🤷♂️ Either way excited to see what comes next 😎
Only thing I would concider would be DIESEL landCruiser 105 - but thats 20+ year vehicle xD I too am happy with my FJ tho. It has ton of personallity. If anything I will mostlikely buy another one. xD once the budget allows it. you know ? the bitcoin money xD
My buddy has a f4fiddy w/camper, and has a massive 3 slide camper on it, and I let him drive Black Betty(07), and he wants one now!! I think all the FJs are in Baja and Yuma😂😂😂. Im thinking of a 4runner,V8,(03-06)as my 2ndary ride. And a smaller Taylor Coach travel trailer to boot around back and forth from Alberta to BC(over the Rockies) to go bug my kids and moochdock at friends😂 thats how Im going to spend my moola. Oops, forgot its 4x4 of course...
Not making the mistake I did with selling Ol ‘76, my 40 series Land Cruiser. I’m planning on keeping my ‘08 FJ Cruiser until the Lord calls me home. Maybe buried in it! My FJ, named Trigger, is incredibly comfortable, capable on and off-road, highway on long trips. When we hit the road it chews up the white lines faster than John Deloren on a binge. Off-road it’s a big time confidence builder. I cut my off-roading teeth behind the wheel of my FJ40. In my FJC, no more getting out in the mud to lock my hubs because I was too stubborn to do it sooner. Shift on the fly to 4 wheel jive, time to rocknroll! At highway speed I hear my tunes on the radio. Not so in my 40. It’s easier getting my wife in and out of Trigger. She trust me and Trigger to get over the boulders, up and over the sand dunes, through the snow, over hill over dale…

I will give the GX a test drive,
@@UncleFjester Do it! It at least it still has a non hybrid engine in it. All the electric and hybrid crap is lame.

RIGHT! In case you missed it, my 2 vehicles are Clean Titled, 2011 FJ and a No Tech 2002 Porsche 911. Both get me home every time! 👍
Go for it my friend! Our FJ Cruisers are Timeless & Rock Solid, add your new upgrades and keep enjoying the greatest off road vehicle of our time.😎

Love The FJ Edition tag. You do have the perfect vehicle. The FJCruiser.

i love my FJ. I would look for a lower mileage FJ and mod it up.
You didn't buy a new car during the 21' to 23' dealer markup madness. So you already won, no matter what you decide now.
1958 would be a nice option for the channel...
Love those vibes as I love my 2012 TTSE! Got a question though; what are those two red hooks on the center of your spare tire?
good eye grasshopper!

Maybe the new Toyota Stout will be An option..
What sunglasses are those? They look nice. FJB!
Thanks BK, 1990's Oakley E Wires, FJB!

Is there a New 4x4 you are considering BUYING?
2020 land cruiser its the only car I'd consider buying and I'd never sell the fj. I'd get them in the same color as well.
Love the Lexus GX !! But I think I’ll go to my grave in my FJ if it lasts .
