This is exactly what I want to do to my table! Yours turned out gorgeous! Curious, how is the table holding up with the sealer you used? Trying to figure out what I want to seal my table with! Thanks!

Great video but there is no point in using citrus strip (a mild stripper) if your going to then use afterwash (a heavily toxic cleaner). Try using a little dawn dish soap mixed with comet and water. The rest of the paint and citrus strip will come right off. I used scotchbrite scrub pads and a little strength. My table is now completely stripped. Time to sand now!
I did half one night and the other half the next.
A mild diy cleaning solution is worth a try if you don’t want too many dangerous chemicals in your home. But thanks for the info 🎉

So gorgeous! Thank you, Ashleigh! Now that you’ve been using this gorgeous table for some time, how is the finish holding up to daily cleaning? I have a table to redo, and it has a polyurethane finish I believe. It isn’t great for cleanup unfortunately.

That looks sooo good! What a beautiful table. May I ask why you didn't separate the top into two where the extra leaf would go and strip/bleach that part?

Honey, where are your gloves? You need gloves on you can't stew it us any kind of stripper without gloves. It'll tear your skin up

    Where?
Is your mask when you do all of this?Because you can damage your lung so easy.I've already done it and I'm 74.And I'm reaping the the badness from not taking care of my lungs. You need to have a mask on honey
