The chest turned out very nice. I want to tell you about a tool that you may not have discovered, yet. No, not a power tool or anything expensive, just extremely helpful. When I was watching you sanding the legs, I thought of it. It is called sanding screen. It helps you go around places like legs or even rounded corners. You can cut it to whatever size you need...usually I use a 1 - 1 1/2" W strip. It really makes for smooth curves and not nearly as awkward as a sander. Hope you find this useful. 🙂👍
I am so glad you don’t distress, distress, distress, everything. It looks crisp and clean.
I've seen other DIY videos where I like them a little bit more than yours. However in yours, you tell us where to get the things to actually do it ourselves... it's why I subscribed. Thank you for teaching rather than just showing. You are definitely a teacher. 🤷❤️😊
Wow that turned out beautiful. Thanks for showing us step-by-step how to bleach The word.
Thanks so much 😊
Hope it helped!
That is another beauty.
I also like the way you say ," I AM the furniture flipping teacher.". delightfully confident
I was cringing because I love antiques, but the piece turned out beautifully! It will allow the dresser to be used and loved for many years to come.
This one might be my favorite all-time piece that you've done.
I have heard this a lot on this one! Glad you love it! I definitely think its in my top 5! Thanks for watching!
I love how this piece turned out. The color, the bleached top and the cleaned hardware make it beautiful. The staging is perfect! I’m sure this will sell fast!
Thanks, Linda! I sure hope so!
Really appreciate the way you explain what you are doing. The foam layer to the sander… had no idea. You help people that have no background with these tools have courage to go buy them & do it!!!! Thanks, Lauren!
How sweet of them to name the brush after you. You are a doll and such a hard worker. I love your enthusiasm and your workmanship is beautiful. Thank you for using this platform to pay off your school loan... keep it up give.😁😁
So pretty, love that shade of green with bleached top!
This is one of my favorites that you’ve done ! Gorgeous! Charge more !
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
I'm so glad you did this one because I have one like it that belonged to my grandmother. She got it upon her marriage in December of 1923. No, there was not a mirror attached to the piece on top. Love your updated look.
Absolutely love it when Neiman does his MAGIC and has TWO LAURENS in the frame painting away! So fun! Great job!
I think it is very pretty. The staging pics really sold it and showed its beauty.
Beautiful! I watched video to learn more about the bleaching product and not only did I get that, but I also learned a lot about sanding and cleaning hardware!! Thank you so much!
Love that dresser.and you chose a beautiful color.
Thank you so much!
This has to be one of my favorite ones that you have done!
I love the putty wash...I would be tempted to do the whole thing in the putty. Another great job!
Yes! That is totally a possibility! The putty is perfect for this look! Thanks for watching!
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher there’s always the next one! Lol
So are you checking Habitat for Humanity for good older hardware?
Nice job, Lauren. You have a good eye for color. One thing... the correct term for the single slot hardware screws you removed is 'slotted' (as opposed to Phillips, with an X slot). 'Flat head' has to do with the profile of the top of the screw. They're made to recess into the wood so the screw doesn't sit higher than the surface. They can be slotted or Phillips. Anyway, the end result on this chest is really pretty. Nicely done.
Love the beautiful color and all your hard work thank you for sharing
Really like the bleaching and the paint wash. Very nice. Also like the new color from Malange
I think this is my favorite one you have done.
Yes, just what imagined it would look like! The way you described your vision for this dresser, and then seeing the end result, staged with the perfect backdrop, I could see it in a light airy house/ bedroom. Kinda county fresh
I agree! My vision totally came to life and couldn't be happier! This is probably one of my favorite pieces!!
I appreciate you showing step by step of using wood bleach, and the advantages of surf prep sander. Thank you for being such a good teacher!
Yes you are a teacher forever. Thank you for the education.
Love that combination, so pretty.
Thank you! 🤗Glad you like it!
You go girl! Living your best life and make big moves!
Once you brought it over to be staged I realized just how beautiful it is. Well done.
So beautiful! Yes, you are a teacher for sure, just a different audience and age group. It never gets out of our system.
Absolutely LOVE this color!! And the top and the legs just make it stand out even more! Beautiful job!!
I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for all the information you include in your videos.
LOVE THIS WHOLE LOOK
CONGRATULATIONS LAUREN!!
i AM SO LEARNING!
It is so pretty. It would be a beautiful dresser for a baby’s room!
Yes! I agree! So light and airy!
This is definitely a favorite! I think it would work in a lot of places and it would be super sweet in a nursery.
It's cute. Certainly a fresh look
You definitely have an eye for color and what a piece needs! Gorgeous! Love the hardware too!
Keep calm and be kind.
Good jobᥬ😍᭄
You said, “I am Lauren.” Thank you for not starting with, If you’re new here….” Such a small change made me smile!
Love the color with the bleached wood!!
They pair nicely together!
Thanks for watching!
That turned out so beautiful
Looks beautiful. I rarely say I like something without the wood tone but I think the detail on the drawers faces looks better with the paint than the dark walnut. Great job.
You did a great job the colour is absolutely beautiful and the bleach front legs look adorable thank you for sharing all your great wisdom and knowledge with us have a great weekend and God bless you
I love how this flip turned out and I'm glad you kept the hardware original instead of painting it gold.
Love that shade of green and also the putty! Another great job!
Thanks for demonstrating the bleaching, i have been wanting to see it.

Probably my favorite flip of yours
I absolutely love this piece of furniture. I love the bleached wood on the top and legs. I use a lot of paint wash because it still shows the grain of the piece and looks like a stain. Amazing !! I love the colors. Thanks for a great video.
It’s not a complete FFT vlog without Lauren dropping something. Haha.
lol so true! or me breaking something/hurting myself 🤣🤣
So beautiful!

Probably my favorite piece you’ve worked on 🤗💕
I love that little dresser. I thought it was pretty cute before as well with the side details and hardware. I like a scan design, as well as antiques. This piece reminds me of both. Good Job and congrats on getting a brush named after you. How fun!
I'm now finding myself looking around my house to see what I can do up and sell , great video!!
That piece turned out sooo beautiful!
Thank you! 🙏
Great job again teacher 👏🏻👏🏻. Just a tip……..on Bethany’s channel, she used tin foil to wrap around the legs so they won’t get painted. I thought that was a GREAT idea!! Thanks again!!
Gorgeous "beach house" vibes here, Lauren! This is one of my favourites you've done! Well done, once again, ya nailed it! Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us ❤🙌
You're so welcome! So glad to have you back, Sarah!
I love this color! And the wood shows up to make it claim it’s age and stability 💜💕
Good choices!
My favorite piece to date. Awesome job!
Wow, beautiful. Great color choice. Love seeing the bleaching process. I have a similar dresser, may have to try this. Outstanding job, oh and thats so cool that they named a brush after you!
Definitely give it a try! Yes, the brush name is super neat! Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel. I enjoyed it very much. Your skill at explaining each process and explaining the benefits of each product was beneficial. You really are a good teacher. Wishing you much success.
I had that same exact towel I got them from kohl’s mine also turned pink in spots
I LOVE that color paint! It turned out really nice! Great job!
Thanks, Vickie!
Wonderful finishes - just lovely!! Congrats on the Lauren 🖌 named in your honor 🏅😊
I’m in love with the color! Gorgeous ♥️♥️
It's gorgeous
Very nice. Some people might clutch their pearls at painting an antique piece. I used to do that some. Now, I think it is part of richness of human creativity to do individual expressions in furniture. Huh, did I say all that?
Absolutely beautiful Lauren! I love the color
Looks great! I want to try to wood bleach.
LOL, can totally tell you're a former Kdg teacher. I'm a retired reading specialist who also taught K-4. I noticed you running your finger under the words on the jar as you read it. So Kdg teacher. 😊
