Very unrealistic for a supposed true story. There is no way a lone military vehicle would be taking a stroll through a choke point all by itself when deployed. No freaking way.
You might as well say there is no freaking way an advanced military like the USA would ever consider putting a remote military outpost in a hole surrounded on all sides by mountains where all the enemy needs to do is roll rocks down on them, let along gather mortars , RPGs and MGs to wipe them out but they still built COP Keating.

This was supposedly to be a true story, this movie did the opposite ,but none of them survived. It was just 5 teenagers that hit on the uae army for entering Yemen territory “helping” but stealing the resources from this poor country.
