Ive seen Dave around the ny BB scene since the 90s and saw him transform from a very avg body into an absolute unit. Say what you will, he put a lot into this sport. I love how people bust his chops. Its hysterical, but ive always been impressed how he just rolls with it. Lol.

@@StLMikie he publicly stated he’s been on growth hormone 5 years ago. Palumboism is just a fancy name in the body building community for diabetic neuropath. As insulin resistance sets it, chronically elevated blood glucose levels from gh causes nerve damage to the limbs, whilst in turn causing a slowed down gastric emptying time. This is why you see bodybuilders with traditionally the distended stomach, along with the atrophied arms or legs, or both.
Also, along with gh use, or abuse or whatever you want to call it, you get the continued progression of bone growth (in certain areas) collegen deposition, connective tissue growth along with insulin resistance witch exacerbates the issue. Debate over.

Flared ribs. It develops from poor posture or diaphragm breathing (like we are taught in martial arts). I have this condition and it can be adjusted with simple exercises. I had poor posture as a kid that went untreated and I've been practicing marital arts for 40 years. You addressed my question about it on askDave a few months ago but you never heard of it before.

The truth is no one is 100% sure what causes it. Just that losing a whole lot of weight seems to fix it eventually. Often a hernia comes along with it. It likely is at least partially related to weakening of the stomach muscles over time in terms of stretching and strain.
Heavy deads and squats put a ton of internal pressure on your abdomen.
Joe Rogan was never fat or had bad health he’s always trained and looked after himself he was just eating pasta and bread so he put a bit of fat on just on his midsection it wasn’t fat fat

I've seen plenty of skinny guys with guts but it's probably from drinking too much soda and beer.

I used to take glutamine chews that contained glycine and I am pretty sure they contained real growth hormone because my jaw grew after consuming the chews for a few days.

N yea certainly all the food volumizes the intestines, we see it grazing animals, gorillas, or animals who eat a lot of material. Only weird thing w bodybuilders is looking from the side its usually the upper half region of intestines that portrudes most, n the lower ab region is more flat. N whats also weird is we didnt see it that bad in the old days

Dave palumbo is incredible that he can go from 300 plus shredded with distended gut to 200 ripped healthy at an older age when most people struggle to even lose 5lbs because of lack of discipline.

You're confusing Joe and Dana White. Joe was never fat and unhealthy, getting in shape only recently. Joe's never not been in shape. He's been on TRT for ~20yrs. 1iu of GH for more than a month, almost certainly. Although, he has mentioned GHRP/GHRH a lot the last few years.
