Hmmm....I'm not sure to be honest! It'd be like caramel milk, and choc milk is a thing so I can't see it being terrible by any means 😅 you could add a shot of expresso if you like coffee or maybe melt down some dark chocolate if you wanted to add a depth of flavor :)

Before! The goal is the heat the mixture so that it’s easier to blend with the hot caramel

Nah, the boba isn't necessary, I just like it. If you make this without it, it's still a lovely milk tea!
what do i do if i’m using teabags?
I'd just use 4 teabags with the string and label removed and take them out after the tea is as strong as you'd like!
