Pro tip is to boil in fruit juice or sugar. It comes out perfect in the end with no rinse necessary.

ORBEEZ it's called Orbeez
They're not really orbeez, but they have similar chemical properties to the orbeez which is the starch that makes it expand. It's like an edible version but more denser.

Just for you to know: Tapioca is made from cassava, a type of tuber, so if ya can't find tapioca starch cassava starch works the same.

Tapioca is actually a starch which is extracted from a ground plant called cassava. The cassava, when boiled or cooked with some spices, tastes amazing

Hey, I have a few questions! This recipe looks so good and I'm hoping to try it, but I was wondering how to store leftover tapioca pearls? Can you freeze them, and for how long? Also, can you make those pearls with any other fruit puree and the same rest of the recipe? I was thinking of trying something similar with strawberry :) As for the butterfly pea flower pearls, do you make the tea from the dried ones and put it in place of the puree, and does this same method apply to other teas (e.g. if I made mint tapioca pearls from mint tea)? Thanks for making this video, even if you don't see this! Really enjoy your channel.

A bit different and quicker way from a boba tea shop is once your pearls are done boiling, pour into a sieve and run under Luke warm water for 10-15 seconds to wash starch. Put pearls into a bowl and pour in brown sugar/sugar. You need to let the sugar absorb into the boba. I've tried it about 20 minutes after pouring the sugar and it didn't absorb at all. For the sweetest boba, let the sugar absorb into the pearls for at least an hour.

@@joywolf8519 didn’t make this one. I made the original ones with brown sugar for brown sugar milk. Not that chewy compared to the ones you get from bubble tea shops. It was a bit hard to control the size too, most were too big for my straw😅
After hour of rolling when I boiled it its dissolve💀 never in my life gonna do that again and too bad we don't have already made bubble here😭
