I'm in love with this car. Not because it's a BMW, or has an LS, or it's a drift car, or any number of things. I love it purely on the attention to detail and overall build quality. In a world of Harbor Freight products and a "good enough" attitude for so many things, I have mad props to the overall craftsmanship in the piece.
That's not to say others aren't this good or better by any means, just that this one catches my eye and touches me in all the right places. 😁 Anyway, much respect.👍✌️

Unco Casey you can't just replicate the stuff they've done, even if you know what they did. Someone who has the capabilities doesn't need the info either.
tommihommi1 it's not about replication its about having aces up your sleeve.
Unco Casey but there's not many secrets to drifting. High horsepower, big angle, lightweight, and skill. It's not like drag racing where there's secrets and all that. Just my opinion
Carter Gunning sure but it's how you achieve those things. For example suspension designed in a way where at all angles and all heights, the suspension doesn't camber out or in. Same goes for the torque curve of a drag cars motor. Sure it could have high hp, but what matters is how the power comes on.
for what it's worth. and not to sound cheesy or lame or anything but, damn. just looking and talking about this car genuinely made me have a good morning.. cars and car people make the world a better place. sick ass car!!!

Okay so this was insane. Love the new format.. but this car, so many things my dudes... that front bumper was absolutely incredible, incredible engineering. The back bumper was on par with the retractable lip, such a rad idea for preventing destruction of the bumper. That build was perfect, so clean. But his driving was loud and the car sounded as good as Bjs truck.. those snapback figure 8's were a beauty, the smoke, the excitement... 11/10 episode. you guys picked the right car for the new format. Job very well done Hoonigan team.

the rear bumpers attachment system is not on par with a retractable lip. they hid the spring/post attachment that they made well but its not anywhere near as cool as having a motorized aero feature on a car

Skreamies yeah me too. After some real good burnies I expect to see the jars come out and evidence be collected, but they never so did. So I sort of assumed they had stopped doing it. Cool to see that over a year later they are still doing it!

I’ve always been a BMW guy, and this is just next level in every way. It’s amazing in every way, shape and form. This is a car that probably had a planning phase that took as long or longer than it’s build phase. To get that level of customization, you’d think that it couldn’t get that cleanly executed, but it was. Then you think, well the fit and finish on the insanely customized car is SO good, SO very tight that it has to be a pain in the plums to work on, but the bumper came off faster than my fly came down when I saw it. It’s impeccably built, as clean as I’ve ever seen AND everything is built practically (as it can be) and with ease of access and consideration that this IS a drift car and WILL be damaged. It’s unreal that they were able to take all of those and mold it into one piece of awesome machinery! This made me smile. Not like the dude in the Cobra bodied car that spent six figures to make a race car and then said, “I made it too nice and now I’m afraid to race it”. This cost MUCH more, and is showing exactly why you get what you pay for.

My only issue is you can't buff carbon fibre and putting it on a drift car that's gonna get its paint scuffed and ruined seems like a waste of money but I'm sure they don't care lol

You guys usually have great cars and guests, but this one is pretty damn special. I'm absolutely blown away at the amount of detail and real thought put into this car, from the quick release bumpers to every single panel of this car being made from carbon and looking flawless. This is true craftsmanship and engineering.

Fuk ya M8... only problem is they will need to figure out a way to hot swap the tires mid run or he wont have enough time for a proper run... i'm not sure if he is using rubber that he is turning into smoke or some how got smoke to solidify for long enough to run doughnuts..

Besides the LS, I really appreciate this build. Obviously the the LS engine is light, makes a lot of power and is fairly reliable but it's just so common. Honestly, I wouldn't mind even seeing a 454 big block in a drift car 😂

Hands down one of the best Formula D rides! Loved the build and seeing the rubber flying at the lens. Amazing how tight his turns were in the small space. I will say tho that camera work made me dizzy so holla at ya boi if y'all need a camera op! I'd be more than happy to work for donuts and meet a garage full of badasses haha

+Smurfy CS-GO They managed 1000HP on an e92 M3 CHASSIS. This is an LS engine and is no where near similar to the original e92 engine.

The n54 cant be tuned more than a supra. It does about 600-700hp reliably. The bmw s38 (from the e34 m5) however, takes 20 psi on STOCK internals. You can literally just slap a turbo on the bitch and it does 800hp
