Which oil did you say you changed? The gear oil does usually have a very strong smell if that’s what you’re asking

At what hours do you do this? Mine just turn 50 hours. Book says just to do the hydraulic filter

Should confirm with your Manuel. For us, the skid steers and dozers machines that move a lot back and fourth we like to do 1000 hours at most but usually sooner. Never hurts to change it a bit earlier 👍🏻

Kubota says every 250 hours for the SVL 97

What kind of oil you put in? Which brand

We arent really loyal to a specific brand. for our Cat equipment we use their oil and Kubota. Otherwise we use Rotella (Shell) 80 -90 gear oil for the final drives.

My SVL will leak just a tiny bit if you don't add teflon tape.

Really? That’s not good. So far with our two svl 75s we haven’t had that issue or any other track machine we have. Wonder if the threads may be worn or damaged?

@@dirty.diggers I mean just a faint amount of oil if it's dusty. It's a new machine.
