sometimes the USA forgets the value the uk has been as an ally to them when they try to act better than the uk or even bully citizens of the uk, lets hope more Americans speak out about how much the uk has helped them, so it shuts up thos Americans who go as far as to say "that the uks culture needs to change or that a forced republic must be placed on the uk" I don't want to see a uk republic as a uk citizen because i feel it destroys my culture and the country i grew up in, the uk has always had a monarchy and parliamentary democracy im proud of, USA stop trying to Americanise and destroy the UK, remember all the times the united kingdoms helped you in war.
Americans dont know but it was the British who changed the world with the Magna Carta in the 1200s, a king gave universal rights to all citizens, and even said not even he, is above the law. The british also had the first constitution. The US Constitution is a quite similar version of it believe it or not. Englands monarchy was never the same, through parliament, the people had a say finally. Its not a monarchy rules all system and has been in a very very long time
@@jamesmaddison4546 to me the monarchy is very important to the uk culturally, the king or queen is there to rule when parliament fails like a fall back plan (same applies to all commonwealth nations who have the uk monarchy as their monarchy for if their local government fails), also the main leaders of all commonwealth nations and the uk's prime minister or the heads of the senates for Wales, Scotland or Ireland all report to and advice the monarchy, in return for this advisement they are granted freedom to govern as they please, as i said the reason they advice the monarchy is so it is prepared to take control if needed just until the government that failed rebuilds itself so it can be given back control and govern as normal, also culturally the uk cant be called uk anymore if there is no king or queen because uk stands for united kingdoms, cant call yourself a kingdom without a monarchy, plus many tourists visit the country because of our history and the monarchy, if the uk became a republic then we would either have to brake up back into 4 separate countries or just loose what makes us the uk in the first place, which in turn completely destroys the culture of the uk as it effects everything that makes the uk the uk.

I think people often forget the Anglosphere. U.K, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. We are more the same than different, brothers. Imagine if we all worked a bit more closely together
Britain still have all these countries under there control 😂🎉
What great men they all are and it doesn't matter if the British saved the day this day as on another day the Americans save the day. In war we're all brothers, respect to you all as you don't ask why but how
I love that American vets appreciate us more than the Civs, pleasure our elite could help you out of a tough spot. Thank you for your service
People wonder why the small island of Britain is so powerful, it’s because of the SAS. They are the best elite force on the planet, period
We may not have the biggest and best supplied forces but we have the best!
Never criticize the Brits. If France, Spain, and the Netherlands did not come to your rescue you could still be a part of the great commonwealth . Britian was so busy dealing with France that it made no effort to defeat the few aristocrats that did not want to pay their taxes. Myths and legends are the the stuff of the American Revolution.
Rescue? Supporting brothers 🇬🇧🇺🇲
True meaning of the term brothers in arms. Goes both ways, they’ve saved our arses in combat plenty of times it’s nice to hear of it going the other way
Hats off. We (Royal Marine Commandos) had an eight hour fire fight, ten of us and over 20 taliban. We couldn't PID (see) them. We had to call in our own British and American warthogs (A10s) to get aid us with getting out. The article in the paper has areas that are inaccurate yet its call 'the battle of compound 62'. My point is, our relationship with American goes hand in hand. 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

america is the wayward son of the uk in that they left the empire by a war but apart from that and the war of 1812 , we are family as are canadians and aussies and new zealanders. Speaking the same language and being former colonies so having the same base culture makes a big difference
They would do the same for us brits brothers in arms 🤝
Nice to hear that we could help out. As a British Army Veteran (Artillery Recce) it's somewhat ironic that the only country I cannot travel to, is the United States of America. 70+ countries, 40 US States and the supposed, "land of the free", denies me my basic human rights to visit my 2 x US Citizen children.
What’s the reason for being denied into the US???

Doesn’t matter if it was 22 SAS, 42 Commando or 1 Para. Us brits are the best - and if friends need help we help. You can see it in his face that they were in a fucked situation, they would do it for us too.

They're well-equipped, well-resourced, well-led and well-trained, and they're doing some remarkable things." - General Sir Graeme Lamb, former Director of the UK Special Forces
"The Special Forces in Afghanistan, and I am talking here about the Americans, they are the best I have ever seen. They are head and shoulders above anyone else in terms of their training, their professionalism, their dedication, and their courage." - British Colonel Tim Collins, OBE
"In terms of raw capability, the United States has the best special forces in the world," said Robert Johnson, a British Army officer and defense analyst, in an interview with Newsweek.
"The UK is the best in Europe, but there is a big difference between what we can do and what America can do. The Americans are the best in the world at this stuff."
-General Sir Richard Barrons joint special operations command
Seems like your own military disagrees with you. It’s not really surprising since we have such a large budget. The SAS may have been the best in the late 70s but definitely have been surpassed with the amount of resources and funding we have to put into our training, and operations. The average amount of money the US spends on a navy seal to train is over 500,000, and they’re not even tier 1. Just think about how much more funding those tier 1 guys we have. And we have a lot more tier 1 units, ranging from the navy army, Air Force and even CIA.

As one American said But fuck me, I would rather have one British squaddie on side than an entire battalion of Spetznaz! Why? Because the British are the only people in this world who when the chips are down and it seems like there is no hope left, instead of getting sentimental or hysterical, will strap on their pack, charge their rifle, light up a smoke, and calmly and wryly grin, 'Well, are we going then you wanker?

Uk doesnt have a very big army or very well equipped army but they always turn up
I was proud to spend some time with the yanks in kandahar. I got sent to patrol with them. They couldn't give you enough of anything you needed, ammo, food equipment. Good lads. My one memory is this they was shocked how heavy they thought the SA80 A2 was 😂 and kept call the susat a scope. Honestly great boys.
sometimes the USA forgets the value the uk has been as an ally to them when they try to act better than the uk or even bully citizens of the uk, lets hope more Americans speak out about how much the uk has helped them, so it shuts up thos Americans who go as far as to say "that the uks culture needs to change or that a forced republic must be placed on the uk" I don't want to see a uk republic as a uk citizen because i feel it destroys my culture and the country i grew up in, the uk has always had a monarchy and parliamentary democracy im proud of, USA stop trying to Americanise and destroy the UK, remember all the times the united kingdoms helped you in war.
Only stupid American kids who have never served in the armed services think that any american that has served in the military respects the uk
