How are you clean that slured jump from E to High F sharp? I keep hitting partials in the middle.

same here struggling wit hthat problem as a freshmen but I like to use the alternate fingering for e of just 3rd that helped me a bit and also just adding in slur jumps in my practice routines and warmups helped me a lot so it just comes with practice I guess because its not something we natural need to do in playing
