Have a 2009 Fatboy that I picked up last year. Been smiling ever since. Suffer through the summer here in Phoenix but loving life now. 73 and still going strong.
Had 2 heritages. A 2000 and a 2006. Loved them both. You’re absolutely right about how beautiful the bike is. I was coming back from Colorado across New Mexico when I decided I was bored and done with my 2017 M8 Limited. Too many electronics, too fancy, and most importantly too hidden from the wind - which I what I have loved for 4+ decades. My wife rode with me for almost 10 years so we got the big fancy “couch bikes” but after she quit and I tried one more trip on the Limited… I knew I was done. Found the 2007 Road King on my channel and I think it’s about perfect. No windshield, no fairing, no radio… I love it. I’m only 57 and the bike only has 63,k on it…so a ton more years and miles coming. Enjoy the miles! 👍
I am so jealous, i just bought a 2022 heritage and i have only ridden it twice because i live in wisconsin. I have owned many bikes over the years and i can say my heritage is by far the most enjoyable bike i have ever owned. It can really do it all. It is so perfect for older riders and smaller riders like myself. Lets enjoy these wonderful bikes! ride safe!
I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'm doing a couple things to it. I'm not going crazy anymore. The next few videos I'll show what I'm doing and why. I'm keeping it budget friendly. Thanks for watching.
I have a 2023 road glide special and absolutely adore it. Especially that it’s paid off, if I had the extra funds to pay off a heritage I would absolutely do it in a heart beat. Perfect second cruiser for around town. Love your channel.
Nice looking bike , looks like it fits you well . I am going the same route this spring that is Streetglide is going to be replaced with a newer Heritage due to arthritis in knees and lower back cant wait [Mi right now 16 degrees with windchill at 7 and 3 inches of snow ] . Watching to see what you do with your bike , ride safe .
Love the new sled it’s a beautiful bike. Dig the retro look and seeing the riding weather down there. I’m jealous it’s 36 deg. And snowing up here in the Northern Sierra’s of Cali right now. I know it’s so much easier to handle than your RG I truly love riding my older road king it feels like a toy after getting off my Glide. As always thanks for your content and safe travels👍
I thought the same thing with my Fatboy. I wanted people to see the solid Fatboy wheels. Right now I am looking at a few months of downtime for weather 😢but come March or so I will be back out riding. Looking forward to the next video.
@@GuyWebb-z7t They came with the bike. They are not a Harley product but the dealers sell them. They are very quick to come off and on. Makes life easy.
I am never without them. specially if I have a full face helmet. My ears are my life and I protect them at all costs. It is how I make a living. Wind is a killer for hearing.
@HarleyGeezer1954 just to set the record straight, I also use them when riding my Streetglide, and when I mow the lawn and when I use the snowblower lol 😆 and my mufflers on my Harley are loud S&S MK45, I was looking around to see if I could find some quiet baffles or db reducers but no luck yet. Keep up the good videos, P.S. iam 71 and still riding
many of us heading the same route…am 72.5 yrs…my current (10th Harley since 1983) is a 2018 Road King. Considering sell or trade for something lower, lighter. have 2 new knees & a hip. safe travels y’all 😎

Great to hear you are enjoying your motorcycle. It's nice to be able to see the road and what's in front of you without your vision obstructed.

I'm 71 and tour on my Heritage.
Don't have a Harley, got a VTX 1800 F but that's a nice bike. At the end of the vid he put the ear plugs in, I use them too. 68 and still riding!

Damn good looking bike its like the 1950s all over again. Nothing like classic styling no matter which Big Twin engine it has.
@@robertjones7792 indeed. 2 other guys I ride with have them a ‘99 and an ‘06.
Awesome!!!
What’s naked about it? lol. You have a windscreen ;). I have a Road King, love it because of the rubber mounted motor ;)
@@markmcanallen9662 well, from a fully loaded tricked out Road Glide with all the bells and whistles, it makes her pretty naked.😎
Softail Deuce for around town and an Indian Roadmaster for the highway. That's what I do.
Love your videos

What can you tell me about the quick disconnect for the bags? I have a O7 heritage

I have the new 2024 Hydra Glide. Definitely a retro bike! Love it, but now here in Ohio it is stored away for winter😟
The Hydra Glide is a beautiful machine. I got a chance to sit on one recently. Sorry you guys up nrth are getting hit with so much snow recently.
23 Road Glide here in Ohio also. Tucked in for winter.
