I like how the crowd progressively got quieter and quieter as the scene went on realizing how brutal and savage it was getting watching these two men try to kill each other in a life and death situation
I think even if King Frodo had won, Ubbe had done enough damage that he would die from his wounds. The way he dug his knife into Frodo's knee, that alone is a life changing wound right there. One of my favorite fight scenes in television history!
1:56 Ubbe making that facial expression with a smile was so Ragnar haha. 🔥 it was such a good representation of a sign of toughness ragnar would portray in his battles
When they splatter the blood on the king, I can't help but remember Amos being punched by Murtry and menacingly turning back and saying "Thank you," before beating the absolute shit out of him.
PERSONAL OPINION!!! 😂 but Bjorn strongest. Ubbe most skilled. Ivar scariest/ smartest. Hvitserk most protected by the gods but also cursed by them. Sigurd misunderstood
@@yaboy2124 Im aware of that, however i dont think that's demonstrated based on what's shown in the tv series. I mean, remember Hvitserk basically lost in a sparring sword fight with a seated Ivar back when we're first introduced to them. I always thought, based on the show, Ubbe was the best all-around warrior due to a combo of him being a bit bigger/stronger than average, extremely skilled, as well as very intelligent and perceptive, (minus certain parts of the first half of season 5 of course). I never knew Hvitserk was supposed to be the more skilled swordsman until i started commenting on Vikings youtube vids a couple year ago. Not that he was bad, but based on the show i just don't think he ever came off as being the most skilled.
Jiu jitsu wouldn't of done anything in this situation, especially against people like these, people like them are stronger, faster and have far more durability and endurance compared to modern day know it alls
the average viking was a thin/lean 5'7"-5'9" Scandinavian farmer. Viking was something you did not something you were called. it was the activity of raiding and looting.@@xxUnearthedSoulxx
Terribly inaccurate story telling. I understand that in situations like these, which are essentially a "duel" between men, there are rules set forth beforehand about what is allowed and what is not allowed, but we don't know what those rules are here except from what we have seen: 1. If my shield breaks I'm allowed to grab another shield. 2. If my opponent is on the ground I am not allowed to hit him. That's what it looks like, but then you see Ubbe tackle the "Black Dane King" and put him on the ground and proceed to mount and then punch him in the face. Thats against the rules as so far as they have been laid out and Ubbe himself should have been stopped and subsequently executed for killing a man in a duel outside of the parameters of said "duel". Otherwise, throw all that crap away and just continue living in your fairy tale world where people don't just kill each other the first chance that they get in a literal life or death battle without rules.
The more brutal it got, the quieter the crowd got. They knew this was serious shit
3:16 the crowd is screaming "han har kniv", "he has a knife".
2 Pewdiepies fight eachother. Very epic.
underrated comment
lol im dying
Smal pp
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pewdiepie is swedish.

More like they got quiet because Ubbe was winning the fight, cheers(if only a little) start back up every time Ubbe gets hurt/pummeled.
Bjorn might talk and look like Ragnar, but Ubbe fights and moves like Ragnar, I can't tell which is more like him.
I think Ubbe is more like Ragnar, looks more like him too, it was even acknowledged in the show by Floki
@@dawoodwilliams3652 I mean when Bjorn does he looks exactly like him I think they both look just like him unlike the other sons.
@@dawoodwilliams3652 I take it back. I just watched this scene, and I forgot how Ubbe is basically a clone of Ragnar in every way.
Bjorn only started to look like Ragnar once he got older with the full long beard and shaved head
Ubbe looks just like first season Ragnar

This was one of the best fights in the whole show
Vikings with fades and lineup's am I missing something?
You can see his CGI eyes pop into existence as he opens them at 1:08
Scene has officially been ruined now
a guy like ubbe would be horrifying to fight
guys like that dont know how to lose
Fighting ivar with or without legs would be scarier

Damn what’s darth maul doing at a Viking camp

God i miss The Expanse
What is the music that plays at the end?
this is just like wwe they just stand there while their opponent recovers
1:08 Ubbe eyes look insane here.
Darth maul back there like no one would have noticed him
Wow, Ubbe can’t take a hit. He got hit probably half as many times and was just as damaged. He was wailing on that guy pretty much the whole fight.
Look at the size of Frodo though.
@@NickThorbjørnsen2207 the ring really changed him
Reminds me of the time when he shot a single arrow and had to go for a drink in the training sequence in s4 lol
Frodo was big as hell, he broke ubbe’s shield in one hit
They were trying to accentuate the size difference between the two. But yea it didn't work well. Just makes Ubbe look like a bitch.
Boys in the playground be like
So thats what felix did when he went on a break.
Why isn't this guy posting anymore?
Almost as violent as the fight between Dan Dority and Captain Turner. 😀
The lad playing Frodo would be a shoe in for Thorkell if they ever made a live action Vinland lol (in stilts maybe haha)
These videos are from the IVAR RAGNARSSON channel.
King Frodo,, wanted all of this,, Smoke,,
So this is how they realize strive for must have gone so far.

you missed to show the climax when ubbe butchers him with his knife

Sorry but hvitserk would have killed ubbe if they really fought and he knew it and didnt want too and thats why he was gonna let ubbe kill him instead
