Following the events of InFamous, Cole and his friend Zeke meet with NSA agent Lucy Kuo, who informs them that Dr. Sebastian Wolfe, the man responsible for creating the Ray Sphere that gave Cole his powers, has developed an even stronger version that would give him enough strength to stop the Beast. Before they can depart for Wolfe's lab in New Marais, the Beast attacks Empire City. Cole tries to fight him off, but even his most powerful attack proves useless. The group is subsequently forced to flee as Empire City is completely and utterly destroyed.
As always, we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to stitch together a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!

@@FlyingV555 That was super lame. They basically made Infamous 1 the good ending by default. They should've made the evil ending cannon, but with better writing.
And honestly, the evil ending isn't even evil. It's not hard to explain, but the writing fell apart towards the end, and even during the game. Like how is getting Nix's powers evil. "Even cole said (to Bertrand) that powers don't kill people."
The writing is what has everyone scratching their heads. There wasnt good or evil ending to the game in my opinion. Atleast with the choices that they presented. Cole was trying to save people from the plague either way. Those people with the plague were going to die if the ray sphere didn't work.
There is so much that they could've done, and so khcb that they shouldn't have done. The Beast talking during his interaction with Cole is stupid as well. John said, "that while he is in beast form, he is basically all instincts." So why would he go on to tell Cole that he is tired. So him hanging on the beast during his evil mission doesn't make any sense either. The beast shouldn't be able to talk or communicate with telepathy.
And if it did have the ability, the beast could've told Cole what was happening from the beginning. How is is that he is able to control his powers and actions during the end, but not the beginning of the game?
There are plot holes all over the place that we can pick at. It's the writers fault. They didn't think about continuity. They even teased the images of Kessler's beast looking sorta like Cole, but it how could that make sense if Kessler is Cole? And if it was just going back into the future to destroy Kessler, then we will never have a game to prove the theory.
But that's what infamous: the series is about.. Theory and choices. That can even be argued on the first game, but probably counter argued by the fact that the developers moved a second game, which made you fight the beast (instead of Cole being the ruler of empire city).
But the developers also said that the good ending was Canon, and that can be argued very well.
But it shoots itself in the foot when the developers make an infamous second son game.... Devoid of logic. Because Cole killed all conduits on the first game, and evil cole was nowhere to be found... Not to mention that there would've been a plague still present for all humans and conduits.
So keys just say second son is just a refresh spin-off

One of the biggest thing that surprised me was the serious jump in the animation development between both games!
Hands down one of my top 5 fav game
The grungy comic style of the first two games is what I missed when it came to Second Son. Like I get they wanted to show off the refined graphics of the system, but the style was part of what separated InFamous from the other games of it's genre. And the fact they limited those comic cutscenes to only a handful of flashback scenes was a big disappointment for me. They even had the right set up with Delsin doing graffiti. Like they could've leaned into that more when it came to the art style and story telling. Eh, still a solid game but after the first two I wanted more.
I still remember playing the demo of this in Target every opportunity I could get. What an amazing game
Damn I really wish they transferred this game over to ps4 and xbox1 as a separate game and not the playstation now thing. Definitely one of my top favorite single player game.

End for humans, a new beginning for conduits. It's actually more good imo, and cole says why. The RFI will kill all conduits, they don't even know if it'll cure the plague, John's method works.
Definitely a game worth playing. Storywise, it was pretty nice. I myself never played this or the first game, but watching the in-game cinematics was truly awesome.
I think my favorite moment starts at 2:14:50, when Cole and Zeke just have a moment on the roof watching the television. Right there, I thought, someone might not make it to the end. A beautiful moment between the two.

Wanted to see infamous 2 like right now and then you fulfilled my at that time.
When I first played this game as a kid I did the evil side without knowing and did the evil ending. Maybe I was chaotic and indeed that was evil. When it came to killing Zeke I didn’t want to, I couldn’t but I had to. It’s one of the video game deaths I remember the most.

This was one of the best games that ever came out for the PlayStation this was my game I got a 100% completion with all trophies really wish they remastered this for the ps4
