James is now a literature professor.
He even has his own gin.😊😊
He doesn't _want_ you to know how much he knows about Shakespeare, but he can't help it. lol
More like a Daedric Prince of CHEESE!
Lit'trature
1:00 "That's a dog."
Ah yes, the most essential part for Gin production.
They do call a morning drink "hair of the dog."
It's the Asian part of the Gin :DD
he looked so sad for the half a frame he was on screen for :'D
@@EmmanQuinones5234 This cracked me up lol
@9:19…dog(s) 😍
Suggestion to have one bottle absolutely filled to the brim with a “Plenty of it. Flood the cowling.” label on it.
That’s brilliant
Make this the top comment
YES so much this!
As Gin tastes like Petrol, it seems appropriate.
@@kevinshort3943 That stuff you get from your local corner shop with a plain white label that says 'Gin' on it can't reasonably be compared to a proper gin mate...
James May is getting himself more and more Gandalf-ish each day lol
Well it certainly would be in keeping with "A wizard is never late. He arrives exactly when he means to!"
More Theoden in my opinion
Ive known much and ive learned much
you read my mind i was just gonna type it xD
He looks like Gabe Newell tbh
RIP Children's TV Presenter Glasses.
*TONIGHT; James sees a dog, James gets a cramp, and James sticks on a label "it's not straight"*
Love how he flipped us the bird right quick at the start when he fixed his glasses. Classic
James is looking fresh. You could say he’s matured nicely…like CHEESE.
or cheese
Lol C H E E S E
Do you mean dry, crumbly and smelly?
whereas most women would have matured like...bread
priceless
Need to do a video with Oz Clarke, and his opinions on the gin.
We all want to see that, I think. It might actually turn into a fight if Oz doesn't choose his words carefully.
He will simply turn into a pantomime Frenchman once he's clattered.
And now, on BBC 4, A new show, where James May, and Oz Clarke test the new Gins of Britain, and, when heavily refreshed, attempt to tell you what they're like, in
'James And Oz Talk Broken Biscuits'.
@@brianartillery I would watch that
How does it taste? "Winey"
Everything about this process screams James May. I love it.
Can't wait to be back here in 5-10 years time when James launches his own strain of legal cannabis
He looks so genuinely happy. Love it!
James flips off the audience often. Classic.
I was wondering if he was flipping of Clarkson and all his farm content lol
First thing I noticed.... flip us off right at the start. May you infantile pillock! LOL
Flipping viewers from the get go. 😂 lol
Jeremy: Working on his farm
James: Produce new gins and working at his new Pub.
Richard: Disappear without any signs.
Hammonds hard at work with his new car restoration business actually 👌new tv series coming out soon!
It's because Richard Hammond is an utterly talentless individual whose only success depends entirely on James May and Jeremy Clarkson. He's failed in every venture other than Top Gear and Grand Tour.
@@HaydenLau. come on now don't be a meanie
@@HaydenLau. you say that as if he hasn't made an incredibly successful career from his exploits in top gear. Without him the trio wouldn't have ever been as funny as they are/ have been.
@@HaydenLau. He's currently working on restoring cars for his new show you pillock. Stop being a whiny baby wasting your time replying with walls of text on youtube and start working on something that you're interested in. Or better than that, go touch some grass.
It looks like James is a couple of years from going full Santa.
yep. somehow in 2 year james may has aged 10 years at least.
Meanwhile orangutan hasn't age a bit, only outliar is his hair is turning bit by bit more grayish
YESSSS a second batch to Australia. Thank you Mr. May
Finally a competitor to Aviation Gin
Also I love how instead of advertising it normally, James goes full-on James mode and gives us a how-it's-made on his gin.
Thanks to all of the team (including the dogs!). It's nice to know my bottle passed through many warm human hands rather than a cold steel machine. (And the gin is wonderful.)
0:58 "thats a dog". Thank you for clearing that up
Nice! Entirely pleased with mine, and fun to see how it was made. Pleasingly subtle gin with woody after notes. Only marred by the knowledge that modern slavery was used in its production!
Ah, sweatshops is how the world runs
You don't drink that one! You order another one from the 2nd batch for taste.
did you just drink the FIRST batch of James May Gin?!
@@fahmifaiz7839 not all of it! yet...
How much did it cost for one bottle if I may ask?
If Clarkson was there a V8 motor would've been hooked up to that filling station. Fill each bottle in a fraction of a second!!
If Clarkson was there, he'd be putting the stoppers in with a hammer.
I just read V8 motor in his American voice 😕😕😕😕😕😕
If hammond were there the gin bottles would be overflowing and currently on fire
@@brianartillery *an hammer
@@ahzhd423 NO he would be drinking it all directly from the filling taps but yes the rest of the place would be upside down and on fire while a paramedic cut his trousers off.
My batch 2 (no signature) order arrived yesterday - splendid. Another fantastic Jams May and team collaboration.
I'm still disappointed this isn't available here in the colonies :(
Yup.
Yeah, me, too. On his website, though, there's a link to an email address where you can express your interest in an international version that we could buy.
As am I
It would probably be easier for him to work with a 2nd maker in the US.
I do hope the batch made for USA, Canada, Australia, etc is labelled as the "Colonial" batch or something similar. The ones destined for Europe can describe that continent in a similarly amusingly archaic way.
I love how excited everyone is to have James there
Add a bit of self adhesive foam draft excluder to the edge of the labeliser flap so when the sticker is lined up you leave the flap down and rotate the bottle so it smoothes on the label 👍

James: These 1420 bottles will probably take months to sell out
Great video, he looks so proud and happy. which is unusual for James. This makes me happy. Well done to James and the team.
Sir. James May nowadays be looking like Noah, and probably has an ark for stuff he finds interesting.
he is not a sir
@@adorabasilwinterpock6035 he should be though
and a little cleaning kit with tiny brushes. :)
@@FishTheJim and kiwi boot polish if he gets hungry
The hair is seemingly a lot older than the person?
...James May is finally the age he’s always been, and it wonderful to behold...keep making stuff James, whatever you fancy (we know you’ll me obsessive to the point of lunacy to make it right)...
James looks like a designer or an architect with these glasses 🤓
I would have said more ..”repeat offender”
He must drive a Saab now.
@@lebebop9931 exactly! 🤣
As a Canadian person and Gin fan, I really hope I’m able to get my hands on some of the second batch!
I kinda want one. Even if I don’t particularly like gin. And also knows the fact a celebrity name on alcohol doesn’t mean it is the best, it just often sells better because of the name. I still consider buying one bottle.
Was just about to say the same lol
i want 2 to save in our "padvali" (underground bunker storage)
But honestly if theres someoine i trust to produce a passable alcoholic drink and sell it is Mr Pedantic James May
Even if I personally will not like it that much I'm pretty sure, that Mr May likes it very much himself
I’m not a gin drinker but I bought a bottle of this - arrived yesterday. It’s excellent. My gin loving friend thinks it’s great and says it’s well worth the price. We had it neat with some ice - basically a dry martini
Aviation gin (Ryan Reynolds brand) isn't half bad.
Got 2 two bottles for my wedding last night, was amazing !!!!
congratulations!!! on both occoacations
Imagine one of the bottle just says
Oh Co#%!
Loved the editing, music, variety of angles. Hope to order from the international batch soon!
I've got mine. It's a gift for the man who plastered our kitchen so splendidly.
I shall be getting another bottle in the near future.
It makes me sad, the trios is getting older 😥
But with style and grace
@@Leon-ve2xb Yeah couldnt agree more. After they quit from BBC, they actually make some brilliant ideas. But still, it makes me sad. Because deep inside our hearts, we all know that they will retire soon 😥
@@yomanoet still can't believe richard whos supposed to be the young one is already 51
@@manenwan Or that Richard is only a year and a bit older than me, yet because they've been a big part of my TV viewing for so long, I feel like I grew up with them. Which technically I did but you get my meaning. :-)
@@yomanoet They've been "getting old" for the past 20 years
the older James gets the more I think he's looking like Doc from back to the future
Brilliant by mistake.
Absolutely love it!
That one finger greeting is so suave. Thank you.
I would like to thank the team working on bringing this quality item to other markets. If James decided to sign a few bottles of the export batch, it would be even better :)
I enjoy James May content.
His enthusiasm is so adorable.
And it tastes delightful. Thank you James.
Isn't funny how Clarkson and May have become food/drink producers.
Trying to make up for all the food consumption they have done :)
I keep thinking this is called Gin's May.
A missed opportunity right there!!!
That's forever how I'll hear it now, nice! :)
Bim's Gin
@@thorne1239 🎶 Bim's Gin Summimasen 🎶
Love the ginuine excitement from May.
Out off the classic trio I gotta love James the most.
Here's a tip for people having to peel and stick labels, from an old codger that had to label thousands of discs over the decades.
You will notice when they are handing James the stickers, they are curling up at the edges, making them more difficult to line up and stick straight. This is because they are peeling the sticker off the sheet. (I know, everybody wonders how peeling the sheet off the label is different, so I shall explain.)
Hook a corner of the label, turn the sheet over and place on the table with your finger on the sticky side of the label corner, pressing the non-sticky side against the tabletop. Peel the backing sheet away from the label, and as if by magic, your label will remain perfectly flat.
Now we just need Richard Hammond to get a team of engineers to experiment and explain why peeling the sticker off the backing sheet causes it to curl, whilst peeling the backing sheet off the sticker does not. I suspect it is something to do with stretching the fibres in the sticker when you pull against it.
That might be helpful for applying graphics to my RC cars and bicycles. I am also applying wine bottle labels soon. Cheers.
It is indeed a dog. Great description of the process James.
It’s impossible not to love James May.
Well done James!
"That's a dog".
Thank you James. I thought it was a cat.
I loved you as king Theoden in Lord of the Rings.
🤣🤣🤣👍
I am in lock down in Sydney in Australia
Cannot leave my home for another 6 days !!!!!
Anything from James makes it easier such as this short show
Thanks James
Lovely to see how much work went into each bottle! Yasss I'd love to buy a foreign version:)
I would never consider buying this until it gets "Gin Monster" Hammond's shot of approval.
Can we send our empty bottle back for a refill?
A perk of the 1420 😂👍
I love the strong “old dad” vibes coming from James. I am in my 30s and a dad and this man is a blueprint for my later life.
Waited a little bit too long to order it so I ended up with the second batch, but I must say, an absolutely excellent gin. Kudos!
I had to take a second look at the beginning to see if it actually was James May hahaha 😂😂
I'm saving my bottle for when James pops his cloggs so I can have a reflective drink, whilst simultaneously leaking tears of Asian Parsnip infused with sweat shop labour.
james has almost died on numerous occasions.
What number did you get I got 301
Yes please as soon as I started watching this a couple weeks ago I went to the website to see if I could order it and I'm in Canada and I could not which made me very sad but now that I hear those words I am now very happy again please make this happen that would be so awesome keep up the great work love all your shows see you around!!!!!
I’m the person in the GU1 hoodie . The one in the black flowers is my farther and the person in the green jumper is my brother. Thank you to James may for inviting me :)
It was delicious!
I’ll be waiting patiently to see when and if JamesGin will able cross to the US of A. Quite curious…
"That's a dog." Thanks James, I never would have guessed :D
Already got mine. Very tasty! Thanks Bim.

Wish I could order this to the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🙏🏻
Love watching James content
This needs to go on sale nationally!!
Just let me know when I can get a couple bottles in the US.
he's starting to look more and more like gaben
Has a way better upload schedule than The Gaben
James can at least count to 3
Can I please congratulate James on his driving theory app? I’ve not started learning how to drive yet, but I like cars too much to not, at some point, learn. The app is amazingly well-made and houses tonnes of easily-digestible information!
James did a thing! Yay!
Cool
That's a dog.... 😂
Congrats James.
Can’t wait to try one out!
11:43 did Clarkson possess him?
Im eagerly awaiting mine!
Great to see Lord Quacker getting along.
James looking more and more like big yin Billy Connolly by every passing. The Big Gin
Yup…even more so when this popped up on my recommended vids after I watched a classic Billy vid. ☮️
So is Hammond going to buy one of these or will Clarkson buy one as well?
Who cares...

James May's sigma male grindset is showing...flips off the audience as soon as the video starts
The older James gets... The more he looks like Bill Oddie...
Or Gandolf from LOTR
In terms of hair, he's way past Bill Oddie and nowhere near Gandalf. He's at the Billy Connolly stage right now. :-)
This is fantastic
i am 100% buying this when its available in the USA. I love gin.
Richard Hammond, a gin monster? 😂
