Are all the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 modells without PWM? Also the 82KV001UGE for example?
Would bei nice to know! Too bad that manufacturers don't tell which display they use exactly.

Greetings from Hong Kong. I just bought yesterday (31/12/2021) the 17-in model with AMD R5 5500U 2.1Hz. CPU. Paid US$756, with 2 years warranty. Free gifts include a Lenovo 15-in backpack (not fit for 17-in, but OK since I've got one before), wireless mouse, and other small accessories.) There is another 17-in model with Intel i5 1135G7 CPU model at the same price. With 128 SSD + 1TB HDD with GEFORCE MX 350 GPU. I don't think it's good for having an SSD with just 128G and the HDD adds extra weight, given the notebook is a large one with 2.1KG weight. (I've checked its weight, it's really 2.1KG.)
I have got a small plastic bag that contains a set of connector and 4 screws that should allow you to add a 2.5 in HDD/SSD. But, sincie it requires to open the base for this and 520G SSD is already good enough for me at this stage, I just put it aside for future, if needed. Your video gives me some idea to do this, later.
Have just upgraded it to Windows 11. All is fine.
For those who need to have further info about the specification, this is the official site regarding this series: www.lenovo.com/hk/en/laptops/ideapad/s-series/IdeaPad-3-17ALC6/p/LEN101I0011.
    So far so good.

I am evaluating to purchase of a Lenovo Idea Pad 3 17 or 3 i 17, with a 17 "screen and 1 TB hard disk. Both on the site where you can choose the characteristics of the notebook to buy, and by chatting directly with the service customers of the manufacturer I have not been able to find out if these models have a backlit keyboard (a feature that would be important to me).
Is there anyone who would be able to confirm if the notebooks I've described above have this feature or not? Thank you

Can I fit this larger batter into a lenovo ideapad 3 15.6inches for longer lasting usage time?

You ran that blue plastic thing around the edge as if that's how easy it is to get the back off, but you had already removed it and just had it sitting there. I came here to see where to start to pry since it sits so snug. The hardest part of disassembly was not shown by you.

He does a better job of showing it on this video : ruclips.net/video/u1jMKLd5fDk/видео.html
Same brand, same series, different model. Start with your thumbnail and follow with a guitar pick for best results.

I started by the hinge and it started to come off.

You'll have to manhandle it a bit for it to pop off though.

@@iDarthDub Yeah, I found a bit of a gap there by the hinge. After 39 days, my laptop died while I was watching TV on it. No lights would come on so I think the mobo died. That's when I learned the clock for my 1 year warranty from Lenovo starts when they deliver it to the MERCHANT'S warehouse! If it has expired when you get it, they add a month, so I only had a 30 day warranty. Luckily for me the merchant agreed this is BS and gave me a refund! No more Lenovos for me!

Its funny how IdeaPad 3 lineup includes models with the most powerful CPU, 8cores/16thread Ryzen and the worst mobile CPU in history, 2-core Bulldozer-like, literally with power efficiency and speed from 2010 or earlier.
    Yes both are 2021 models.
    Poor customers.

In Hong Kong there's the 1135G7/1165G7 paired with a bloody MX350... the *i7* even comes with 4+8GB RAM...
And the 38wh battery, can it even survive for 5 hours with a 17 inch screen

battery is too small so space is very wasted inside laptop. Bad design!
