Either none existent or borderline retarded, they decide to remake because they don't have the skills to improve upon it.

I would love to see an MG1 remake with a 2 mission structure like MGS2, 3, or 5. The first shorter mission would be as Frank Jaeger up to him being captured. Mission 2 is David's mission as in the original.
I don't know man. I was very disapointed in MGS2 when the main part of the game was with Raiden. Metal Gear is Big Boss/Snake.

A Metal Gear 1 remake has the potential to be the best game in the series story-wise.
I find it so weird still that Portable Ops is considered non canon. Yeah I know its an old topic but it adds more context to Fox and Foxhound.
Also proof that an MGS game without Kojima IS possible. I loved portable ops
It also explains how Big Boss got the funding to start Outer Heaven in the first place. I actually loved that game. But just like with Rising, I guess Kojima thought it didn't fit into the overall narrative that he wanted for the series.

I’d hope that if delta were to do well they’d remake Metal gear 1&2 in a combo release, those are probably the 2 least accessible games in the Metal gear series and recreating it in 3d would be a great way to make those games much more accessible and give long time fans a truly fresh experience
You can play those on modern consoles now. They'd have to add way too much to remake those games anyways. I wouldn't even trust Kojima to remake them after mgs5 and death stranding one of the worst games ever created

As we're talking remakes and not remasters. The next remake after MGS3 should really be Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 to tell the story of Solid Snake taking out Big Boss in Outer Heaven. It would be cool to see rookie solid snake fresh in Foxhound and meeting Grey Fox for the 1st time before he became cyborg ninja etc. The original 2 games brought into the modern 3D style would be great. The story is already outlined, so most of the work would be just telling that story in a modern style. Also as a bit of a side note here. Hideo Kojima has to be the most stylish old man on the planet. He's 60 I think. 😮
Mgs3 remake is not rumoured to release in 2024 as it was technically confirmed to release this year when PlayStation at the start of this year released a trailer featuring their upcoming games for this year which included mgs3 remake and even sh2 remake

Probably because he is a great voice actor but not as good as an actor? As long they get a decent actor to play snake with all heart and loayal to the games like cavill did with witcher, it is going to be great. Unless they are going to do Meryl as female strong lead.

@@thomasb.842 I agree, my statement was more of an idealist want, as a full circle scenario. For an ideal actor to play Solid Snake, maybe Karl Urban for me. But anything is better than nothing I suppose and Issac is a talented actor, so we will see how it turns out.

MGS stopped being exclusive a long time ago man, there's no reason to buy PS consoles for MGS anymore.
I just want Metal Gear Solid Master collection volume 2 with MGS4, MGS5 and Peace Walker. I only owned Xbox 360 and Wii in that era because ps3s were very expensive back then and missed out on MGS4.
i doubt mgsv will get a remake/remaster any time soon it still holds up VERY well compared to other modern releases of games

I'm wondering, due to the huge leaps in A.I. being able to code now, if these remakes could be made in a fraction of the time we've been used to in the past, with A.I. coding at lightning speed, 24 hours a day. This could mean a new Metal Gear remake every 12 months or so. How amazing would THAT be for gamers 🤩!
Mgs3 original was launched in november 2004, its pretty sure they planned launched the game in november 2024, for his 20 anniversary and PS5 Pro launch.
Kojima also want making remakes of MGS OPS, Peace Walker, MG1, MG2, MGS1, MGS2 and a remastered versión of MGS4, MGSV and Rising

The order of Metal Gear Solid misses out on Twin Snakes, where does this fit? It was one of the best I have played, it was on the Nintendo Game Cube.

I wish they would release Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on switch or ps4. My 360 quit working about 45 minutes into the game and I never got to finish it 😢 I really thought that game was pretty cool

I really hope they don't skip Peace Walker, it's so integral to the story and really should've been called MGS4 (having MGS4 be callled MGS5, and MGS5 be called MGS6). It's crazy how many fans didn't play it because it was on handheld. It was admirable for Sony, Kojima and Konami to promote handheld playing for hardcore gamers but it sadly wasn't promoted enough as a full fledged MGS game and not picked up on even by genuine fans. Peace Walker fits right in after MGS3 and MGS5/Ground Zeroes doesn't really explain how Big Boss came to be who he is, because that's all entirely explained in Peace Walker.
I highly doubt they would remake ground zeros and phantom pain so soon, those games still stand as epic modern stealth action titles til this day
The next remake surely has to be MG1 and 2 as a combined package. We’ve been asking for it for decades and it’s easily the most interesting and necessary project.
Sony is a big factor in driving a nail right through many of the studios these days because development costs are so high we can't afford to have these games on just one console. Spider-Man 2 sold 10 million copies and didn't even make it's money back.
The game cost 300 million to make. 10m x 69.99 = 699m, they made their money back and then some lol
@@brenmunroe2055 It doesn't work like that because you're assuming a 100% return. Retail copies minus approximately 20%, then you have licensing fees and advertising can double the budget easily. The general rule of thumb is if a game cost 95 million to make it doesn't break even until it sells at least 5 million copies. If you even paid attention to what Sony said 30 days ago they even talked about not breaking even. They may need to start selling games in smaller episodes.
And that is why digital games are going to take over. The cost of discs, printing on discs, cases for the discs so on and so forth
@@joshuakeely5593 That is actually going to drive up costs even more. Digital Sells will be less often because you can't buy second-hand and you can't find it anywhere else except the marketplace. Every time a used game is sold they miss out on a sell, so yes this is true, but pure greed will keep prices inflated longer. A disc also doesn't cost that much money. The CD is about 15 cents and by time you include the case and artwork you're still under a dollar. Their goal is to go all digital so they can control every sell, not to bring you more affordable prices.
@@Particle_Ghost yes blank discs are cheap but times that by one million, plus the cost shipping them, plus the cost of labels, plus the cost of paper even minimal gets expensive in bulk, plus the cost for the plastic containers, plus the cost of having to pay for labor for adding the data on the discs, plus the cost of maintaining the machines that make the discs, as you see it's not cheap

Le site officiel mgs3 delta (remake) existe depuis des mois mais ne fait que brasser du vent et ne contient aucune informations c'est nul comme tout 👎. J'ai tellement envie d'y jouer et de l'installer mais je me fais pas d'illusions. Le jeu risque d'être soit annuler soit repoussé d'une année.

Being a fan of the series it is for me, I earned platinum trophies in all the games of the series on PS3 that were available and want to play the games again to earn the platinum trophies again.

No, the game is good as it is
MGS4 needs to be remade, but story and game mechanics wise it was pretty good. Although, there was no chance to take on the Metal Gear Gekko units except at certain points like as a gunner on a vehicle or following button prompts to destroy one with the electrified flooring or in the underground bunker. I would have loved to be making my way across enemy territory only to be suddenly ambushed by the Gekko. And if there is a battle happening between a militia and a PMC, making a decision to either leave the Gekko unit alone to wipe out the militia or destroy the Gekko and even the odds for the militia would have been cool. Maybe perks for helping the militia in doing this.
I'd love a MGSV remake. A complete version this time. Some slight changes to the game mechanics as well - like instead of entering a main base and the enemy calling in a handful of soldiers from outlying outposts, instead truckloads of reinforcements should arrive to secure the area. And perhaps the involvement of the Afghan Mukahideen whose trust you need to earn before you can call them in to support your infiltration with a diversionary assault.
Get rid of those stupid zombie soldiers or wtf they were meant to be, replace them with a team of hardened Spetznaz or mercenaries
Those things I mentioned would make for great game mechanics.
Otherwise the game was great, right up to finishing the mission where you destroy Sahelanthropus. And then you're treated to playing half the game again on various difficulties which was evidence of how rushed it was.
I heard Oscar Isaac was not going to be able to make it. He's gonna be getting busy and can't wait around for it.

Act 1 is a new original story that bridges MGS V with MG.
Act 2 is the MG plot
Act 3 is the MG2 plot
