None of these are VTOLs. Vertical Take Off and Landing? The only one that comes close is the gyrocopter, which is a Short Take Off and Landing. Calling them VTOL proves you have no knowledge of aircraft categories and should be banned from RUclips for false and misleading videos.

It can vertically take off and land but it's 12 million so its price point is pretty high.

@@Tech_Planet It cannot take off vertically as it has no vertical vectoring or rotor assemblies, such as a tilt-rotor or multi-copter. Catch a clue, do some reading.

#5 & #2 models, none of them are revolutionary though, #4 wasn't a jet/plane, but a copter.

Actually, it is a gyrocopter with a free-spinning wing rather than a thrust-producing rotor; “copter” is usually used as shorthand for helicopter.

@@FranklyWry which is practically a helicopter, the rear rotor is still quite substitute to a single main rotor to be its tail stability, if to apply a gyrosoptic device, it will be a heavy substitute of a rotor tale. Just to call it part gyro.

0:29 "...see *_more_* of these types of aircraft..." Just seeing one would be a huge leap. All we have so far is hype and CGI.

It is true that the e-Starling is early in development and the numbers could be exaggerated(they are half scaled models right now) so I agree that the project has a long ways to go. Also, check out Joby Aviation or the VA-X4, those are very real and are big leaps for evtol.
