Very nice aircraft! but too small, no anti ice or deice system, the price is close to the Vision Cirrus jet....it should cost less than 1.5 to be competitive(sure! also equipped with a valid icing removal) anyway i hope all the best for this lovely bird. Good luck!!!
This is weird to compare to the cirrus price wise. So the cirrus price is just under 2mil whist this is about 450k more expensive right off the bat. So from price the cirrus is winning here, however the LAR01 cost about $180 less an hour to operate than the cirrus. This means you’ll have to fly it for 2500 hours just to break even. Now that’s all cool but if the LAR01 is more expensive to maintain especially after that many hours then you’ll never make your money back in the purchase. The other thing is that the cirrus can hold two more passengers which is a third more than the LAR01 but only cost a quarter more to operate an hour. This means if you’re running some type of business where the more people you can have the better you will be making about 5% more with the cirrus. The draw back is that the cirrus travel well over a 100knots slower at cruise speed so in a sense the farther you can go the more cost affective the LAR01 is. They expect about 2000 miles of rang with is about 800 larger than the cirrus. The only issue is that for a jet of that size with only four other seats to fly someone that far there is always a lost. So unlike the cirrus where there can be six passengers going somewhere the LAR01 can only carry 4 at most which will affect its range a lot. The issue is that it might not be as expensive to fly the aircraft an hour but maintenance and trying to make back that money will have the company up charge for a little while. The issue with this is that anyone who is able to pay that much will have more than three associates with them. The other issue is that the cirrus is cheaper and has a way more better equipped interior that even has a tv in it and is quiet enough to not have to wear ear protection. The LAR01 does not. What I’m saying is that this aircraft is more expensive and would require the owner to fly it a lot to make back as much money as they spent on it. The jet is not practical for a company to own and operate so it’ll be exactly what it’s meant for and that’s a personal private jet. The issue is that why would you buy a jet that is half a million more with less luxury and capability when it comes to carry weight? In order to break even the owner would have to spend well over another million on fuel alone just to break even with a cirrus that flew the same 2500 hours. That’s impractical and if I’m being honest sort of ruins the plane. If the plane was just as much as the cirrus then maybe it would be worth it but it’s not. I just checked their website and the price was lowered to about the same as the cirrus and now it’s more of a question of the mission of the aircraft. Would you rather have practicality or performance?
If the reported specs are true, and not BS, then this seems to be the only jet that will work with my 2,000 foot runway. I like it, but if there is no news soon, and it's not available to buy soon, then I'm buying something else.
Cirrus jet has so many features that this jet lacks. price should be 1 mil. even at 1 mil you will not get many takers. Heck, a used Eclipse jet is a better bargain.
totally agree. This Flaris not really attractive. the space inside seems small, the center stick its a no go to me, and yes the price should be so much less. for $2,3M, this plane will not find many takers.. The vision jet G2 full option, which is a AMAZING jet, cost $400,000 more than this Flaris.. so the choice is made I think.
Also if the CELERA 500L can actually perform anything like they claim, that should be another competitor out classing them on features with similar performance, but should have with lower operating costs (who knows on purchase price). Granted it still seems hard to believe they really will cut fuel costs nearly an order of magnitude.
It has many good qualities, I believe the car seat jet config has extreme potential but other than looking a little funky, where it fails is price. I don't care that it might still make cost sense compared to other products, it's still a big failure compared to what it could be. Williams may be a big part of the fault, depending on what they charge for such an engine. What could and should be done instead is developing a tiny turbofan jet engine such that an ultra light 4 seater would be well powered by 2 such engines. It would be engines in the 10-20kg range which can tell you that they shouldn't cost half a million dollars. An ultralight pressurized twin jet has extreme potential. Over 2 million euros is a complete failure. you can buy 2 used twin engine jets for that.
"An ultralight pressurized twin jet has extreme potential" I'm not certain if I agree with that or I understand what you're trying to say. Is it an ultralight? While U.S. and rest of the world ultralight categories are very different, both limit the flight envelope so much that pressurization or jet propulsion should be unnecessary. Is it a CS23 plane with the weight of an ultralight? Then I'm not certain you can include all those extra equipment needed and retain the weight of an ultralight... Or did I misunderstand it?
@@g.zoltan You are so rooted in what exists you have trouble imagining something new. If it had to conform to current regulations yes it would be C23/part 23 and key to the idea is low weight. What extra equipment? remember a 200kg aircraft would only need very very light jet engines, especially when it has two. And pressurization in a small hull is zero challenge for composites. Indeed it's a strength, windows aside. when you go small and light, things become effortless. Material strengths becomes advantageous at small scales. Which is important for a jet engine.
@@reinhart482 Yes, that door design is just looking for an accident!! Very bad design. However, at $1.5M they might just sell a lot of them. The avionics are not bad for the price. I'd like to have seen a G3000 in it with the new autoland feature if the pilot cannot land the airplane but those all add to the cost. $1.5M just might be their ticket to success!! The other thing I like about that single engine is it farther back behind the cabin than the Cirrus Jet. That has to help cut down on the engine noise getting into the cabin.
See the only thing i see the same as the cirrus vicion jet is the single engine. Other wise this is an entirety different aircraft, longer range, longer aircraft, cirrus has a V tail while the flari has a twin tail (which makes it more controllable in cross winds) there are a lot of technical and design differences.

2 million euros definitely is a high price
Couldn't agree more!
"An ultralight pressurized twin jet has extreme potential"
I'm not certain if I agree with that or I understand what you're trying to say.
@@DanFrederiksen So you're thinking of a Subsonex JSX-2T?
I may be old fashioned, but I find it difficult to watch aviation reviews when speeds are not referred to in knots.
No offense but I’m not a dog I’m not worried about knots
How can it be that much faster than the Cirrus SF 50? 477mph? GS with 100 knt tailwind at FL250?
That door sure puts the suicide in suicide door. Can you imagine that thing popping open on take off ?
On takeoff is where I’d want a door malfunction to happen...not at cruise altitudes.
Yes bad door design idea. Door and hatch malfunctions are not uncommon. Fatal Crashes have occurred due to them
@@reinhart482 Yes, that door design is just looking for an accident!!
Bloody good airbrake though!🧱
Deadly doors. Can you imagine getting into an argument with the wife at 35,000 feet and she said she was getting out and walking.
That's a feature
It has a ceiling of 25,000 ft and it's pressurized. That door isn't opening.
great plane to ship m3th n kokaina around
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I like!!!!!!! Just don’t have the money. 😭
Lol
There are companies that will loan money for this particular aircraft because it's bankable.
Really small cabin for the cost! The Eclipse 550 is still my favorite, larger cabin, almost same speed.
lol normal, your jet is 50% more expensive xD
and flaris got 1000km more range! :D
There’s a reason why the Eclipse has terrible depreciation. I would rather a PC12. I don’t know one pilot who wouldn’t.
and 2 engine safety - BIG SAFETY difference.
I wouldn't mind the eclipse given the economy and safety except tgat the company is bankrupt. Yes, serial bankrupters the plane is cursed.
C'mon Cirrus. Step up your game. The vision jet is pretty, but the TBM 930 out performs it in every aspect.
why miles, not knots?
Advertising gimmick, mph appears faster than knots.
Wow!!! Only the price ?
Looks like there may be a few tailstrikes with this airplane
It’s just as low as a piper warrior.
Bro this Aircraft is cirrus vision jet upgrade version
Lol
it has an OV-1 Mohawk vibe to it
Promising solution for easy & fast movement, but price two times too high !
LOL
A cirrus SR22 is 1.2 million... you're the most delusional I've ever seen here
See the only thing i see the same as the cirrus vicion jet is the single engine. Other wise this is an entirety different aircraft, longer range, longer aircraft, cirrus has a V tail while the flari has a twin tail (which makes it more controllable in cross winds) there are a lot of technical and design differences.
