    Hey dimes, I used to be a little kid that can't throw 10 yards or have a spiral. After watching your videos, I have learned to throw a consistent spiral, better accuracy, and +20 yards in my throwing power within a year. Continue to make these videos as they are entertaining and really help me and others out.

    I'm Brazilian and here the sport is starting to grow, I don't have anyone to teach me in person, I've practically watched all your videos, my mechanics are good but far from ideal, I feel like I have several mistakes that I can't identify, one of them is the rotation of my hand, I simply can't rotate my hand so the ball comes out of my hand with a good and precise spiral, I really wanted some way to send videos to someone to help me, but here where I live it's extremely difficult to find someone to help me to help

    • @dimes.

      It is tough to learn the best way to throw, especially on your own. My best advice is to literally just spend time studying & understanding as much as u can. Really paying attention to the specifics & then studying your own movements to find out what is different/causing issues for you 🙏

    Dimes I just wanna say something so one day I’m just chillin in school with all my friends then they talking all about football and yeah then I start playing football at recess. After that I realized how much I loved football. But there was one thing I always played WR but I wanted to be a QB but I sucked at it. So I threw the ball with my dad and mom all the time. I started to improve a little but I couldn’t throw a spiral I had no arm or accuracy. So I decided to go on RUclips. I watched all sorts of videos but nothing helped. Then I came upon one of your videos then I practiced that technique and then I could throw ten yards father make it to the person I’m throwing to and also throw a tight spiral. And now I’m here starting QB for our football team. Thank you dimes.

Just knowing & learning information out there is one thing, but taking what u learn & applying it/capitalizing to where u become the starting QB is a whole other thing 💯 That takes a lot of attention to detail & dedication. Quick question this might seem silly and it’s probably a yes, but does strength matter more than like your movement sequence? I’ve been training a lot but can’t seem to throw to far. Thanks!

    • @dimes.
      @dimes.  6 месяцев назад

      😂 I never intended people calling me dimes, it just started happening. Thank u tho 🙏 & strength is purely supplemental. Technique will take u very far, & strength will add to that, but just getting strong with poor technique won’t get u as far. Overall athleticism will help you level up as a thrower & as a qb in general tho 🙏

      I quit baseball in 3rd grade to play aau basketball, & don’t have much a background in throwing a baseball. Hey Dimes, I play quarterback for a 6v6 flag football league. I haven't played quarterback in 10 years and got back to it this summer. My first games I was able to put the ball wherever I wanted it and make strong accurate throws. The last two games though, my ulnar nerve in my throwing arm hurts so bad after a couple throws and I have to switch to receiver to keep playing. I watched your video on how to reduce elbow pain when throwing, but the pain is still there after my stretches. You got any idea what else I could do to fix this?

    • @dimes.
      @dimes.  6 месяцев назад +1

      I would heavily focus on releasing your bicep, tricep, & forearm/wrist/grip muscles. The issue could be stemming from any one of those muscles. Try stretching, strengthening, & rolling out. Also be patient with this process. Sometimes I’ll over work my arm & it can take 1-2 weeks to get the pain to reside. Let me know if this helps 🙏

      Try to keep your wrist neutral through your wind up & only pronate it & turn it over through the release 🙏 it’s hard to be perfect, everyone’s spirals turn a little but there are also other factors that could make it turn, like wind & the angle of the ball at release

    Here's one: tell me how does Fields look ruclips.net/video/5JO1PsupF_U/видео.html in his college highlights compared to what you're saying? Even in the NFL his motion was excellent until about half-way through '23. But if you have the time take a glance at some of those plays.
    I think that it's only because he's doing what you're saying that he can launch low-flying missiles giving the defense No Time to adjust to his passes, also giving his receivers No Time to try to get cute & try to catch the ball while pulling stunts. It also helps that he's Extremely Accurate: much more so than the other QB in that spliced video. Heck, he's probably more accurate than anyone but Rodgers & Mahomes.
    What did the Bears _do_ to him?

      Tbh, I think confidence has a lot to do with it. Look at Mac jones with the patriots. He’s also a very competent qb who thrived in college, but when things don’t mesh with the team/system, it can cause issues. I think there’s huge upside for the rest of fields career, especially being in a qb room with Russ who (whether u like him or not) has a great career resume & a lot to teach a young guy with a bumpy nfl career start. & fields has been locked in with his coach Quincy Avery getting right, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go crazy when he gets his next shot

      @@dimes. I was hoping you'd judge the raw footage on its own. Social media _claims _*_he's_* a bust. But he led the entire NFL in offense 3 weeks straight in '22 & the Bears lost all of those games. Is _that_ the QB's fault?
      You know who _didn't_ lead the NFL in offense 3 weeks *total* in '22 never mind in a row? Mahomes. Allen/Diggs. Tua with Tyreek Hill & Jalen Waddle. Hurts with a #1 o-line & top-3 WR duo. Burrow with his élite WR _trio._
      I can refer to What Social Media Says myself. Why'd you jump straight *to it* though? You know what social media says & assume it's a confidence issue? But it's funny you didn't even say *what* you thought was a confidence issue. I showed you Nothing But The Most Accurate Passing & you replied with an implication that something's wrong with him.
      The #1 thing people say is wrong with Fields is that "he Can't Read Defenses." Something that was proven wrong _with _*_stats_* ruclips.net/video/QuhUbISnr8s/видео.html by no one less than Brett Kollmann himself before Fields ever even took a snap in the NFL. Is _that_ what he lacks confidence in?
      Obviously not. Since that's something one can't unlearn, he still reads them at an elevated level. Wanna try again?
