heres a drill you can do at home with just a football and flat surface, lay down on a bed, the floor, anywhere flat, throw the ball directly up and catch it with proper form, extended hands, diamond, watch it all the way as it falls, throw in the occasionally low below the waist past to practice catching low balls
Im trying to get better at football but sometimes when they throw it I can't catch it. Could you put a type on how I can always catch the ball please cause I never drop it. I also play really well when where running routes or just playing catch which I do good in. But when I'm playing a game I can never catch could you help me?

Appreciate you man! I would suggest 3-4 months to make a big change in your speed. It takes time and this obviously isn’t one size fits all- you might see results in a month with a simple tweak to your form. But that’s what I would guess 3-4

Yeah so taking a photo of the ball is essentially like the ball is thrown and when it hits your hands- pretend your eyes are a camera and you’re trying to take a shot of the ball. Like the only thing in your vision line should be the freeze frame of the football and nothing else

Yeah you want to have long strides but a slight lean forward with your pad level. I tell my guys to pretend they are “pulling a sled” and this usually helps them with pad level

I would suggest when you’re in the open field (not the redzone) keep your head down for about 10yds- in the redzone you keep your head down for like 2-3yds because it will be a quicker fade. We are posting a video on that this week!

Just gotta keep strengthening your grip. Maybe not finger tip push ups, maybe you do farmers carry or pull up bar hangs. Stuff that’s generally harder
