Billy Gibbons attended the Warner Brothers' art school in Hollywood, California. His father was an entertainer, orchestra conductor, and concert pianist who worked for Samuel Goldwyn at MGM Studios.
He didn't get there by talent alone. His manager was Bill Hamstein.

I would think he would want to keep the Mustache trimmed.
They mentioned the money has has made over the years. Many of the celebrity net worth sites have his net worth at between 60 to 80 million. I'm willing to bet it's MULTIPLES of that. I live in Texas not far from Gibbons. I don't think any other rock band has toured as endlessly as ZZ Top, and keep in mind, they were popular AF in the seventies and were raking in cash, and still packing stadiums today. On top of that, only had to split it with two band mates, and they travel with a fraction of the equipment most bands do. I bet Gibbons is worth well into hundreds of millions. Oh, not to mention, he's only had one spouse, so he has never been wrecked in a divorce.
