To be fair, I would consider these strategies as fair as the other methods of playing fair as fair too.
All methods serve the purpose and there is always a way to encounter a fight differently.
The only main difference I would think is how the player show themselves. If someone is like Char from Mobile Suit Gundam or Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam with bold colors that can easily be seen, then that means they are either very confident in their abilties or want the enemies to focus him first in a team fight (or both). The latter can be with camo if the player is more about stealth or attacks when least expecting.
Using Snail's emblem really drives home the "Scumbag" part, in case it was not evident.
if your missile build isn't as strong as someone else's, remember SCANNING your enemy grants you lock-on status even through terrain and cover, use and abuse by poptarting out of cover, dumping your missile load and hug your cover to be protected from missiles
This is truly the high flying anime action I wanted, two robots hiding like little bitches shooting missiles at each other from behind cover. Great PvP fromsoft, definitely not in dire need of a complete overhaul.
so a small note about Coral weapons. They are not affected by Energy Weapon Spec, and also *completely ignore defenses*
This is why the Assault Armor from Coral Generators appears to do more damage. it's not that it's got buffed damage, rather that it's ignoring your opponents' Energy Defense, so it simply does its full damage.
There are two types of PVP AC Players
The noble, gallant knight, standards displayed proudly. Their AC is lovingly designed, intricate patterns emblems emblazened for all to witness. Engages in fair, skillful combat and always remembers to say thank you and good job after every match.
The rugrat who lives underneath the carpets of your garage who eats smelly blue cheese who skitters away with two fully armed Zimmermans and an Ayre Waifu body pillow tucked between their damp arm pits. Fight fair? No no no, have fun trying to catch me as your peppered by missiles constantly and then staggered to death by double tasers to the face.
theres the third who uses one meta build ever who believes they are the noble gallant knight, but are actually just salt lords on par with iguazu

2:15 this is actually a build that's been winning competitive circuits, nicknamed the 'Lobster' by some. You actually do not need to charge any of the lasers! You can just rock up and spam them to death because the laser cannons will only overheat on the 4th shot in a row.

I find the premise and thumbnail hilarious 🤣 I play as Samus in Smash Ultimate. I know what it's like to be carried by peculiar density of effective projectile spam or sneaky tactics. Samus is the kind of noob slaying character that gets new players to rage quit over being so cleanly 3 stocked.

The EULE 60D Pulse Shield Launcher is massively slept on.
It yeets a decently sized shield out to a close range; which doesn't seem all that useful, so why do I like it?
Well: The shield CANNOT be broken until it times out a few seconds later, and it does an honestly stupid amount of impact damage (about 2/3rds of which is accumulative) if your opponent runs into it; but YOU can move and fire through it freely with no ill effects. Also you can fire three of them in pretty quick succession, which lets you make portable, one-way cover pretty much whenever. Also it doesn't put you into Firing Stance.
But surely this has gotta be handicapped by enormous Weight and EN burdens, right?
Well... Kinda? It's EN burden is all of 620 (only slightly less than the VP-60LCS Laser Cannon), but it's pretty average in terms of weight.
I managed to sneak it onto my KASUAR build, meaning it'll fit on almost anything.
The pulse shield launcher is pretty good against aggro builds when used well
I use a Coral Gen Tetrapod with double flamethrowers and double napalm launchers. Unload your napalm then let loose with the flamethrowers while the cannisters are reloading, repeat until opponent is well done.
It works better than it should and makes me laugh.
That definitely works against any opponent without decent vertical boosters

I changed one flame for a minigun. Bazooka on left shoulder, payload missile on the right. Tank treds and assault boost straight at them launching everything. And then I keep assault boosting at them.
One of my only PvP wins was with pincer missiles. Specifically combining them with laser drones to distract the opponent while laying into them with the not-quite a chaingun and the small laser rifle to put enough rounds in the air that it caused a panic response. At least that's what I assumed happened, because there's absolutely zero chance I out-skilled them.

I start out with an AC that looks like the OG tutorial mission AC with the name LOADER 4. then I gradually increase my power level with other builds. You can always tell the exact moment they stop going easy on a "noob" and go full tryhard

if i recall correctly, coral damage isn't actually calculated against your energy defense. it's a combination of all 3 damage types, so overall defensive performance is what works best against it

Ps: i do check people build before getting into the match. Kinda hard not to do so when everybody sporting 2 zimms or missle bote everywhere.

is there also host's ping advantage or is it just me? sometimes if i play on global server as guest the attack delay is wild, i could dodge tens of meters yet still got shot/slashed. doesnt apply if i play as host.
I heard this was a thing but tbh I'm not sure myself
Back before the zimmerman nerf, I would rock both of them, a songbird and a stun needle cannon. To maximize my chances of winning I would play 3v3 rather than 1v1 due to my skill issue. I would start off by identifying a target. Preferably a tank build or a player that tends to remain grounded or at least plays near ground. I would get as close to them as possible and pepper them with my zimmermans. Firing off both at once would not fully stagger them but individually in a salvo controlled-pair it would stagger them almost immediately. When they reached the ground I would unload my songbird and stun cannon immediately. This would overwhelm the player with anxiety and they would assault boost away or stay grounded and skate off behind cover if there was any. If they got cornered, using my spring chicken legs to kick them would end them if they were a lighter AC. If they were beefier, I would repeat the same sequence, sometimes mixing up the combos with a zimmerman shower, followed by a kick, then a shoulder weapon barrage. If the zimmermans were reloading I would assault armor them. If they didn’t stagger, i would attempt to kick them, then finish them off with a shoulder weapon barrage, or I would try and just hit them with the shoulder weapons but they would have a chance of evading. Using shoulder weapons would always stagger them straight away if I chose to use them, but there was a high chance an enemy would just dodge it. And the likelihood of them surviving was higher the further distance they built from me. So I would always have to make sure my build was nice and close or mid distance or I wouldn’t be able to fell a player. Also my build was somewhat slow and had a high vulnerability due to the play style. But it was high risk, high reward. Especially if my team had good skill and ACs that could carry the team.
This is indeed a scummy way to win XD
That being said, I want to try the nest out at some point. Never tried it, don’t know how Devil’s Reach will do. He’s a mid weight AC with the Mind Beta legs. Dude has a mix of explosives and kinetic weapons because I like them. He’s not the most tanky but he has done well against most types of enemies PVE

Just get a cheap melee 1 shot build and increase your lag by opening a bunch of youtube videos. The only problem I have with pvp right now is people lagging seem to have a massive advantage with phantom hits. Just like all from games.

all attack no defense with mega grenade launcher so even if they dodge they still get hit mini gun for suppressive fire and 8 cell missiles on the back so the barage never ends with a speed of 370 and quick bost time of zero

I check every enemy ac before a fight and match my enemy, if they use a tank I use tank if they light weight I’m light weight.. the scummiest thing U could do is hard counter a build

Scummy ways I fight, eh? I use dual laser blades, specifically both the Moonlight and the Redshift Moonlight and pretend that I'm copying Raiden. RULES OF NATURE! My ranged is basically Redshift Rifle and a minigun on my right shoulder. Sadly, this setup does nil against those damn mosquito builds.

Lightweight duel Laser turret swarm zimmerman build.
True, playing fair is for losers, if you try to play fair you will lose WILL lose 99% of the time. So, I barely bother cuz it's not fun.
Your missile boat build would die to any lightweight missile rat who is good enough to dodge your missiles. The Aperitifs are significantly easier to dodge now after the nerf. And while the corals still do enough damage post-nerf to wreck a lightweight's day, they were always quite dodge-able, especially coming from an AC which has literally nothing but missiles so your opponent only has to focus on missile dodging to survive. Meanwhile your tanky boat build is going to be eating every last missile they fire cause you can't dodge worth a damn in that thing.

Missile Skirmishers wonderfully hardcounter Missile Boats and Tanks. So so so much fun. Made it purely for fun but was surprised by how effective it turned out to be

Try asking for matches on a discord server! Some fighting games for example are like that, you have to seek matches that way.

i dont really play scummy but i prefer players who play scummy over braindead players who try a meta build but die in 4 seconds because while they understand “hmmm yes big strong weapon hurty” they dont understand anything else. scummy players will highlight the weaknesses of a build u have so badly you cannot miss it. much love to the scummy goblins on the servers

If I were to make the AC, I'd personally use the Verrill head (I put it on all tanks) and Tian-Lao arms (spare load does very little, plus no speed debuff) and I'm not the biggest fan of vertical missiles because of how easy they are to dodge without quickboosting. But apart from that it looks like the type of monstrosity I'd build. I approve!

Vertical Launch missiles in terrain heavy maps are amazing.
So if you felt like you could how would you actually want to play? Unengaging, exploitative, anti competitive builds played for malice hurts the game long term. I never check enemy ac. I have fun and always use my favorite ac.if i lose, i lose. If i win, i win. Winning or losing is not the important part, its the fun and intensity of hiding and cat and mouse gameplay for me. I met sometimes players that try to hide and snipe or sneak from behind. Thats much more funny instead of knowing what enemy uses and to choose a counter just to have the most easy win. I dont get the point of the message in your video. I would feel myself without honor
