Chainsaw is so powerful, but you need to have it revved and ready to go before you get the stagger. I've always preferred using the Pile Bunker myself. It's way easier to pull off.

Thanks for continuing to make sure the pvp in this game is as unplayable and unoriginal as possible so idiots can get cheap wins at the expense of all the honest players. You and these "people" are worse than parasites. Parasites at least don't usually kill their host this rapidly. Nor do they prey on them for more than what's necessary.

I came to a very similar build recently and found this video trying to optimize it. Why not use Kazsaur reverse-legs? Better jumó despite weight and it can compensate for the initial vertical boost I typically experienced with regular biped legs.

This was awesome. Sirchby has the final evolution of the AC I am running in my fresh playthrough a year later, and it is weird how much of it is similar. I did not expect that at all. Dagger and Oscillator have crazy tech.

One build that I ran is one that is kept simple, based on the tester AC we fight in that one mission. Due to its surprising agility and armor due to it being incredibly basic, I've caught a lot of people off guard with it

I’m gonna be honest I’ve only recently in the past few months got into armored core in General, played through the story several times before I figured out why I was never being matched up with anyone in PVP now that I’ve gotten up to A rank after a couple sessions of grinding it It just feels like everyone has a cheap build, I love the sport of a fight. And more often than not I’m seeing people‘s builds rely on the old strategy of running away halfway across the map and barraging you with missiles so you never have a chance to actually see them, and the second you do manage to get within 400 to them. They zip away as fast as possible and it’s just not fun or engaging. I know some people have their builds not meant for close quarters engagement, but to always be flying away and never become more than 10 pixels on my screen is cowardice in my eyes. In general, I guess this kind of thing is why I’ve avoided online in any story based game. People tend to value the rank over a good fight. I don’t care where I’m at. I’m trying to do some legendary shit where we both can walk away saying win or lose, that was a good match.

Lol, I made a similar build by accident. I only started playing last week and know NOTHING outside my own experimentation. I use the Turner AR on one hand for medium damage/speed/range, the same arms as in the video, but I have normal bipeds because speed is life and I use Alula Boosters all day long on a VP-200 Generator. I still need to dodge and fly. And my main weapons are Moonlight and the Laser Lance. Sometimes I swap Moonlight with the Laser Dagger, Pulse Blade, or Laser Blade.

As a brit this feels like looking into a weird alternate universe where things are just slightly off

Lol, all I do when I need a win (in PvE) is strap 4 miniguns to the toughest AC I can make. I can't beat the CATAPHRACT for obvious reasons, but I think even BALTEUS and the _other one_ are unable to out-damage me.

Going into ranked after hours of fighting my friends using close range and assault armor only to realize that most players run and fight from far away using pulse and terminal armor and find only despair.
