Love the sound inside the car. I had an 04 mazda6 but got rid of it because my wife couldn't drive a manual. I miss that car but really want an rx8 now. I love the interiors of Mazda cars.
If you can live without your rx8 for about a week and some change.. Send your ecu to racing beat and they'll reflash it to they're specs.. Raises the stock redline to about 9700 ish and other various fuel trim tuning to lean it out a bit at high rpm to of add a bit more power.. Also no the mid pipe is not resonated. I like my rotaries to be fully unrestricted.. However, I still do have the stock precat in place and some how my car doesn't throw a check engine light. It's common on the 04's to not throw a code for some reason.
so only took them about a week? and did you get the v1 or v2?? my 8 is my daily and it do beat on it but its not like im racing it everywhere so i dont know if the v2 is over kill or not? what you think.
are you using the dual res midpipe or the nob res? cuz my non res is Loud as fuck and I'm wondering if the rev8 exhaust will quiet it down a bit. I use the hks hi power for mine and she fuckin screams lol
Freddy Torres from my research on forums and searching many videos, the rev8 is considered the closest to stock/most mild aftermarket cat back you can get. It's what I plan to get whenever I get around to it because I want something as close to stock 'quiet' as possible but with a deeper tone.
How is the noise inside while you're just cruising around at freeway speeds (70ish)? Can you carry a conversation pretty easily? Sounds great by the way!
