    Great review! I really appreciate how technical you get with the products and the explanations of how it effects various situations. I am really interested in SSD products from what I've seen so far in your reviews.

    Recieved mine yesterday installed in my mattzilla mantis chassis alomg with a castle 3800kv motor geared at 20/87 on a 3s lipo and its mad, way faster. Only issue i can say is same as you josh tight bearings but all the other stuff is very well made and all meshes up nicely.

      That's the Chrome Mattzilla Ultra4 chassis I have at the shop. I think it is where this trans will live.

    If you are having difficulty deciding which car to put that on I will relieve you of that dilemma dna take it off your hands coz I have a place for it on my Wraith :)

    great vid, good explaination. in anaother vid you showed a table comparing motor-to-wheel ratio of a yeti and Wraith. Can you post that again? I'm filling up my kit wraith with a 3750Kv 550. Now I'm looking for exact these type of comparisons to make up my mind and buy the right stuff to mate with the motor. thnx. Wouterb

      You can find that info on my Critical dimensions thread on RCCrawler.com in the Yeti section. It's stickied to the top.

      Harley Designs Yep, found those. But it's not what I meant. In one of your Yeti(?) vids you're ajusting the Yeti gearing to meet your prefered Wraith reduction. Which it's different from stock based on installing Pro4(?)
      For now I think I'll go stock (on 32p equivelant: 56/14). 3750kv will give me extra speed. 550 can will boosts torque (enough to shred internals, i guess). I'll see were it takes me.
      As an alternative I can get a 4250kv 4 pole (540). At least that's an easier install.
      Your experienced thoughts on this will be appriciated. thnx Wouterb. (diff.account)

    how much does it affect the low end power? does the high ratio make it loose a lot of snappiness down low? curious.....

    • @HarleyDesignsInc
      @HarleyDesignsInc  7 лет назад +2

      +Gearhead Workshop yes it will lose most of the low end grunt. I really didn't find a use for this trans.

    I've got a Wraith Spawn and and I'm looking to get a little more speed and torque out of it but I want to keep it brushed, would like to just need to change the motor and/or gearing. Would this transmission work for what I'm looking for? Also, I just shredded the idler gear doing a muddy snowy hill climb so I'm kind of already in the market for new gears or tranny, just don't want to break the bank. Thanks.

      getting more speed and torque but staying brushed is not really that easy. This size car really puts the hurt on brushed motors. If you aren't running 3s Lipo that's your best bet. If you already are, then I have to strongly suggest 4-pole sensored brushless.

      Harley Designs seen your video and was wondering if you thought this would be a good transmission to run with the hot racing worm drive axles? I don’t want to be extremely fast but don’t want to be extremely slow either
