I had a nice, 79,000 mile Tropical Turqois 2dr. HT but, because of Covid, work and parts here in Canada are hard to get. I bought it from a senior 85 years old who had it for 20 years. I did get it progressed through to a much better shape (it ran well) but after a year, I wasn't having much fun so sold it to get one already done. It didn't take me too long to give up on that due to unscrupless sellers who wouldn't keep their word. Thank you for progressing this one through. I love them and am glad they are being cherished.

A nice bit of American art history!
The artistic flavor of U.S. automotive industry on display from the 30's-70's. & they made steel to last.
These cars & trucks are quite possibly some of Americas most important sculptures artistically.
And engineering brilliance that might be more valid than that of today's.

Black with matador red dash etc.was a common color combination. Black and silver was available too back then. I'm to old to do this stuff anymore but I have owned many of them over the years. Fun cars!!

A little advice. I've done a lot of hauling and towing. That chain on the passenger side of the trailer is hook up. Not good as if it moves the hook falls off. Take the hook up through the square board holder and hook it over the edge. That way if it moves the hook stays in place. Nice Find

Yeah, they had pink interior back then my grandpa had a pink one head back in the day so it could’ve been either. There should be a code somewhere on the Vin number. It tells you what the original colors of the car war if you can decode the Vin number, using one of those Internet site

When they see bonds that could be right from the factory before it got painted had a 60 Buick my cousin bought new worked at GM watched it come down the assembly line as it was heading for paint it hit the wall they body filled it and painted it right there he never knew till I stripped it to paint a different color 30 years later which isn't a bad thing unless it rusted through behind the bondo

I'm not suprised you sold that, it was a nice car, though he was a bit shocked to see how bad it had got, it must have been good when he parked it.
