Relaxing video for getting ready for sleep. Who needs the sound of running water when you have a dozer running? Thank you for the video. I am watching the whole thing before crashing out.
That little pond turned out sweet with some great character. Not just a simple hole in the ground. Once again, your vision of what it will look like when all I can see is trees is amazing. Thanks for sharing this little build with us.
Can you do a compilation of the damns you have finished over the past year or two and let us see how they turned out? I would like to see the house with the basement that over looks the lake.
THANK YOU. 😘 My mate tried silt removal in a pond with a 3 ton excavator....got it stuck!! I used 4 railway sleepers to get it back on dry land. Never would have done it without your videos to give me the idea 💡
Well, this was a very enjoyable little pond series to watch happen. Thank's to Chris and his Uncle John. Now it's on to the next one on Uncle John's list as Chris is putting the finishing touches on the Bealy Good 5 acre pond job that's almost a lake. I wonder what's next on Chris's list as well.
Hopefully! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 You have another massive pond/lake project or ten coming up. After the Beally pond/lake series we'll be Jonesing for another one. I know that's not how it works. But with Geoff filming plus of course you filming. I'll be having LetsDig18 withdrawals. Nice mud puddle they sacrificed all of those MASSIVE trees for. Maybe it'll look better once filled.
Pond is not so little anymore. Looks very well. I guess you did dig and transfer a large amount of clay and soil. Hope it fills soon. Need some aerial views.
Little Pond is Looking Good - we can't wait until it is Full of Water - will he introduce also Fish ? The Fill in Field got his Top Soil and got seeded and now for a Warm Blanket of Straw - ha ! Great Job indeed ! We love when Professionals Work ! Another Successful Day ! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Looks “Slicked” up. Pond turned out sweet, nice finish on it also. Now all you need is a nice slow drizzling rain for about 24 hours and the grass should jump out of the ground. Thanks for the ride along sir.
Good video! Enjoyed watching how you go about digging the pond. You're very good at building ponds. I have had a great time watching from start to finish. 👍😎🇺🇲
Up here in Ontario we call the hard grey soil ,thats hard as rock when dry but like quick sand when wet Hard Pan, we have blown quite a few hydraulic hoses trying to dig it.
The 5 acre and little pond videos were so much fun to watch. I do have a question though. Do the owners have to get some kind of permit to have ponds built? Do they get some kind of government funding for building water habitats for migratory birds and wildlife?
Probably not. Some localities do want to know who is building one and where it is located. Where government money goes government control stays. Most people here do not want the government in their business.
@@cathiwim ...thank you, I know North Carolina folks would rather not have the government messin' in their business. That 5 acre pond sure looks like a REALLY expensive project! Great deal for letsdig18 and crew.😉😁😉
@@Manoffire260 Yeah, but here in Phoenix, she forgets to give us much water (though there is a hurricane just off mexico that could be threatening us in a few days... I HOPE).. We'd love a ton of rain... and if it happens there.. I'm 2500 miles away
@@ronpeacock9939 - problem is - torrential rains, like from a hurricane, do little good. Historically, they do nothing for farmers, aquifers and the soil itself as they run off far too fast. A hurricane might fill up both ponds, but do too much damage and even kill people. Unfortunately, rains like that are becoming more common.
It is Whole alike whether You a little Wood Pond or a 5 Acre Pond to building. You make all with the self Quality! Best Quality from beginning to the end. Near Document You all by Videos. Congratulation!
As usual nice and well done job ---- Chris, do you spread seeds when job is over.....If so how many bags will you have to get for the 5 acres lake (no more pond)...! John should propose a contract for maintenance of the lake !! That would be a great contract !!! Have to put some lotus flower I put some in my 2 ponds it filters the water and are permanently in bloom, very nice --- fish do love them and the shade in summer !!! Best regards from French Guyana.
Well if that around 5:30 on Wednesday sky has dropped out here in Durham I don't know if it's dropping out over there so it helped fill that pond up or not but if it is it's hard as it's coming down it ought to knock a pretty good dent in it
I don't remember ever seeing a video of you spreading grass seed. Do you use some type of powered spreader??? Inquiring minds need to know. [ THANKS !!! ]
@@jaquigreenlees I think I remember seeing him use a 3pt spreader at the farm once, too. But just wondering what his uncle used on their projects. Don't always see a small tractor on the job, but that could just be because he does not video it.

I second that. The sound of the dozer going back and forth, has a calming effect. Thank you
The excavator humming as well.
Beautiful work by you and your Uncle on this little pond. Now all they need is a very good rain.
Chris that little pond look awsome, you and uncle John made very good job , love it .

They'll probably be back there to do final grading when the house is finished being built.
Chris does do that every now and again, keep watching
Looks good, can’t wait to see it with water :)
Looks great 😊
Not as good as your one is going to look Mr bealy

Your choice of equipment shows your expertise. Love that grading-bull dozer. Perfect for its task.
Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Don't believe I've ever road with Mr John before. Not surprising he's a great operator!
Don’t realize how much dirt the ole Volvo bucket can sling until the dozer pushes it! 🤙🤙
Good looking job made a nice little pond you guys sure do good 👍 work thanks for letting us tag along

This is a perfect job for the Ruckus Rake .

Looks like a lineman is using a hot stick to throw a cutout.
Looked like he was having some trouble pulling them. I hate to see those guys out there by themselves, especially while working on the primary.
Finished at last great pond digges thanks Chris and John for a great video
Aren’t you glad this particularly well documented job is over. 👏
Got to be thinking ahead about where to put dirt so it is efficient to spread it out. Guessing you have done it before!!!!
Neat stuff 🥱✌️.
Great to see that old dozer is still going strong, when more recent purchases have had problems lately .
Good afternoon Chris, you guys did a great job. Steve from N.B
...looks great, nice work, keep safe..
Looked awesome 👌
Good work again
Good job Chris 👍🏻
Uncle John needs a ruckus rake.
I hope Uncle John is not too traumatized by that harrowing experience .
Looks like an easy day for you guys..
great job buddy and great video as always buddy 😎👊🏻👍🏻 looks really good love how you said straw time lol 😂
Neat as a pin as always
Nice job but I think John needs a raise!
Hope fame doesn’t screw up family. Love much.
I hope that there will be a video of it filling up
good pond video

I can’t use my bulldozer with so much other things to do so I’ll watch you.

Anyone else find the Humm of a diesel engine soothing? I swear I have to watch these videos twice because I end up dozing off.
