After years of trying lights, I ended up up with Fenix. They just have the quality, interface and features I like. I use a PD36R as a general/kit light and a PD25R as my carry. I’ve had a Fenix RC05 for years and it’s out lasted all other lights I’ve tried. Still works great.

I have had a PD35 for years and it’s never faulted and still is used every day. It’s a stalwart of a flashlight. 👍

This is a nice light. My 2 favorite carry lights are the TK11TAC and the LD30! My favorite throw is the HT18! Thanks for sharing

I started back in the day with Surefire and quickly moved on due to better tech and price from Fenix and others. Love their lights.

I carry the PD36R. It replaced my PS32 (original) that I used for a few years. I LOVE my 36. The reason I went with the 36 is because of the type of battery it uses. Instead of an 18650, it uses the 21700. My weapon lights (AR and shotgun) both use that same battery. So having the same type of battery across different platforms (and having a couple extras) was an easy choice, for me.
Fenix makes awesome lights and I've been a fan ever since my first one. I even bought my mom (in her 70s) a Fenix light a few months ago. She was amazed at how bright it was being so small (she was comparing it to a Maglite 2D flashlight). She had no clue about current flashlights and that just because it's small doesn't mean it can't be insanely bright. Also, she'd used standard incandescent bulbs her whole life. Using a light with a bright LED was an eye-opener for her.

I have recently returned to the Fenix brand, after a long hiatus. I remember owning a PD32, LD10. Over the years I have waned from Fenix because I was always comparing them to other brands, who seemed more forward thinking w/their UI's. Yes, I like flashlights that go straight to turbo, but I don't use it that often. I also really have moved away from rubber ports for charging. I'm using a PD35 V3, and it has attibutes I like: 5 lumen Eco (10 and up in other Fenix lights is too bright IMO), no rubber recharge port (charge port in battery-just wish it was USBC), and the pocket clip is not felt when I grip the flashlight. Many of these two directional clps are cool, to make them into a headlamp, but I find many of these clips cause hot spots in my grip. The PD35 V3 clip disappears in my grip, and no hot spots. For me not having the side selector switch separate for turning on the light is the biggest change I have had to get used to again. At least the Fenix I have has zero chance of going off in my pocket! Thank you for sharing.

Fenix is my go to EDC/Vehicle/Bag light. I recently upgraded my PD35 TAC to a PD36 TAC. BTW, there was no Fenix PD35RTAC as you listed in the title.
