Stella is the most fabulous baker out there right now! And the most entertaining!!! LOVE!!
We love you. Never stop, Stella.
Hey. You, the person about to complain about this recipe in the comments because you don't like crispy cookies
*Whyd you click the video then*
uwu nya these are literally my fave chocolate chip cookie, otherwise I don’t want it lol
I was looking for crispy cookies bc my parents like them crispy
I dont
Lol
More Stella, please
This is great, but I'm still waiting on another Sohla & Stella farmer's market challenge.
The struggle of choosing a too-small bowl is so relatable lol. I’m more of a chewy cookie fan, but this reverse method sounds interesting and looks tasty! I currently have 5 kinds of cookie dough balls in my freezer 🐷
This video is peak Stella
I don't think we've achieved peak Stella yet.
Tried this recipe. If you’re looking for a crispy and chewy chocolate chip, this the recipe to try. It’s realllllllyyyyy good! If you want it more chewy, bake it for only 10mins but we all know it depends on your oven.
Because of how humid and hot it is in my country, when I blended the ingredients. They almost came together like a dough not dry. But I still pushed through, they still ended up the same. I’m now stopping myself from eating more..
I'm going to try them🍪🍪
Actually lol'ed at the bag drop
It's a cookie made like a cracker. Brilliant. Has anyone does this with white sugar? I know Stella said you shouldn't but I'm curious if anyone did - how did this affect the taste/consistency? Also: what about adding the egg/vanilla to the processor, pulsing a few times, then hand-mixing?
Can you put the cookies in the fridge or freezer to speed up the cooling?
these make nice ice cream sandwiches if you can make them without shattering the cookie
Nice crisp
Tates cooking are one of the best cookies ive ever had ima go beg my dad for them
I love Tate's cookies so I searchd the recipe . The video was great, but where is the recipe?
I just ran out of my Tate’s cookies......this video was a life saver
Can I make tate cookies without a food processor please reply
what can I be doing wrong they come out very greasy they get crunchy but have a little bend to them not completely stiff like a tates cookie please help tried 3 times
And the tates cookies are so expensive. This is way cheaper! Thanks!

Does frozen cookie dough need to come to room temp before baking? Is the dough improved by aging in the fridge?
In the recipe on the website, there is a note recommending thawing to at least 68℉ before baking.
I don't even like thin and crisp cookies but these look good. 🤔
Ok but how much of each ingredient do I need to make these cookies?
i must be missing something... where is the ingredient list with amounts?
They buried it two pages away to get the clicks
Ingredients
8 ounces low protein all-purpose flour, such as Gold Medal blue label or Whole Foods 365 blue label (about 1 3/4 cup, spooned; 225g)
8 ounces light brown sugar, not dark brown (about 1 cup, firmly packed; 225g)
3 1/2 ounces raw cane sugar, not white (about 1/2 cup; 100g)
2 teaspoons (8g) Diamond Crystal kosher salt; for table salt, use about half as much by volume or the same weight
1 1/2 teaspoons (8g) baking soda
8 ounces cold, unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch chunks (about 16 tablespoons; 225g)
8 ounces assorted chocolate chips, preferably no darker than 70%, see note (about 1 1/3 cups; 225g)
1 large egg, straight from the fridge, well beaten (1 3/4 ounces; 50g)
1/2 ounce vanilla extract (about 1 tablespoon; 15g)
You are adorable!
Can I do this with the traditional mixing method?
Cream butter + sugar - eggs, vanilla - fold in dry ingredients + chocolate chips
So... when are you gonna give us a replica of the Nestle Tollhouse Tub of cookie dough?
Also... who here's ever made a batter or dough (cookie, cake, brownie, whatever) that... um... didn't make it to the cooking step? Not because you made a mistake or it fell... but just because... uh... it tastes good?
one thing to note...the woman who created Tate's cookies uses salted butter...
Good to know. From mistakes I've made, I've learned that extra butter and white sugar makes cookies crispier
STELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
❤
Wish you would've used measurements
Still trying to figure out why I hear her use the term "bake off" instead of just "bake".
Where is the recipe 😮

She's gorgeous. Shoooooom.
Stella i think you need sleep because those bags under your eyes are next level.
I love the close-ups of her lips & neck... Stella is sooo beautiful.
Thin and crisp chocolate chip cookies are blasphemy.
This is the worst style of chocolate chip cookie I've ever eaten. It doesn't even absorb milk. I can't think of a less delicious way to consume good cookie dough. I think I might choose Chips Ahoy over Tate's! That's just my subjective opinion. That said, I think Stella's cookies in this video look much better than Tate's (because they're thicker, fresher, and made by trustworthy Stella) and I would probably like them better. I get why people like Tate's, there's something to the butterscotchy browned butter flavor, but they're more like butter crisps than chocolate chip cookies. They hardly have any chocolate taste, just a hint, there's hardly any cookie body to chew, and I don't like the "baked parmesan crisp" texture. Sometimes cookie dough is worsened by baking, and this style does that for me.

Ice cream sandwich
K
@@VardhanShrivastava That's not a bad point. Probably the best use of the cookie. Nice contrasting texture. I'd still prefer a softer cookie, though. More of a classic Chipwich texture. As I recall, Stella's own chocolate chip ice cream sandwich recipe was also Chipwich style and aimed to have the ice cream and the cookie have similar density. I think the snap of a hard cookie might be nice, but I'd rather be chewing a soft cookie with ice cream than a bite of soft ice cream with hard cookie shards in it.
We got cookie critic over here. Be on high alert.
Putting a person with a little cooking experience is not what you have 🤭🤭🤭🤭
Stella is so annoying but this channel is worth it.
