Hi Anoosha, I love your videos and they are really helpful. Can you please do a video on your different 6B pencil brushes details- can you cover how you customized your brushes and what brushes are your favorite. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this! Big yes to a real time draw with me video! I’d like to know how you layer the different colors (like same layer or different ones with different blending modes?).
I usually will layer based on 'object'. Like one for the face, one of the line art, one for pattern, one for veil etc. Something like the veil would require overlays or the background, but generally for the character I keep it on 'normal' layer.
It was so interesting to see how you layer colours particularly for the skin. Really great tip to bring more depth and texture to piece. I love your subtle use of outline. It's something I hope to work on - having just enough line to define the piece so that shape language can really shine. Thanks for sharing~
Loved this video. Always admired on how you coloured your digital pieces (I am new to digital art and love the traditional, vintage look) so it's so cool to see your drawing/paiting process!
This was so fun! I absolutely love your perspective as an artist. Bringing your culture into your designs is so inspiring! I would love a draw with me live. It is so fun to connect with other artists. The internet is such a great tool to reach the world. I say go for it!
Thank you so much for this! It was interesting to watc your process, I learned a lot. 🥰 Would really love to see you draw something out while explaining the steps.😊
This was such a great video Anoosha, this piece is sooo beautiful!!!!! Count me in on that sit down and draw with me video! I love hearing how all of us artist think/do things differently when drawing it's a pretty cool part of the process in this craft. I have also really loved the worlds you design! Thanks for these great videos Anoosha!!
This is so gorgeous ✨🥺😍 when i was little i dreamt that one day i would have a wedding look like this - only years later i realized that i am not south asian and this is not my cultural background. Watched a lot of bollywood movies as a kid and loved the fashion so much.
Oooooh Eeeeem Geeee Girl, it’s an understatement to say how much I absolutely LOVE this artwork. If there was another word STRONGER than LOVE, that’s how much I feel about this drawing. Everyone has a favorite, this one is mine😍🥰💖💖💖💖 Blessings….Carolyn
I loved the indian style as an indian I really wanna say that even real indian brides look the same as your character👸🏻 Also I loved the mahendi design so much🥻🎨
This is so beautiful and inspiring! Thanks a lot for sharing. May I know how did you record the Timelapse video? It’s different from the procreate ones, thank you 🙏😊
This turned out great!! If you're still taking ideas for future videos, an interview with your agent would be amazing! You have previously talked about getting agents for illustrators but since you yourself were contacted, it would be great to hear an agents take on submissions as author-illustrators to literary agencies. Have a great day! And thank you for the awesome videos! 💖
This video has just made my whole day! Thank you so much for sharing your process. Do you add as much layers/depth of colour and detail when drawing the same character over and over in a picture book or is a simpler process?
Thanks! It depends on the illustration, as well as the overall style of the book! If it's a spot or a more graphic style, I'll keep it simpler because the detail/lighting etc isn't as important or required. For something that has a more lush style or elaborate spread, I'll definitely put in the same amount of effort. Another factor is time! I'll also adjust the complexity of the illustration based on how much time I'm given to draw the book.
Wow! Stunning. I loved seeing how you built up layers of colour and brushes. I had noticed you used so many. Also that sheer veil ..how you've made it look so realistic is amazing. When I draw sheer I just turn down the opacity lol but I like your method. It looks more believable.
This was so well done! I love the vibe and aesthetic! I'd like to know if you used another program to record your timelapse process thats not too heavy on the ipad memory? I love it when the timelapse follows the angle an Artist works versus the way Procreate's timelapse export is at full picture.
Occasionally I’ll record myself drawing using my camera! I take such a long time to draw so I don’t love doing the camera method because they I’d end up with like 4 hours of footage to clean up haha.
This was lovely and I’m so glad I came across your channel! I was wondering how were you able to get more layers on procreate? I work with the same canvas measurements + 300 dpi and I’m only able to add about 15 layers max.
Is it the version of iPad you have maybe? I have the latest one now and I found that in the new one it could have a lot more layers than my older 2017 iPad.
Omg I love this so much! She has such a magical aura about her, and the colour palette is absolutely beautiful! I've been trying to do some digital art over the past year, so being able to see your process is really inspiring. I'm only at the stage of creating very simplistic clip art with black outlines and solid fill colours, but I think I'll have to try out adding some textural elements because I love the way the textures you use enhance your drawings. Thanks for sharing!
For the sketch it’s the gouache detail from Bardot brush (listed in description box) but for line art in the final illustration it’s the default 6B pencil

I love your videos, I plan to buy my first graphic tablet next month. Trying to decide on size 16" or 22".
If you're able to try to out first, that would be great! You'll have a better idea of how you're more comfortable using :)
Wow you created an absolutely remarkable character, gives a whole new perspective on the way we see asian faces.

Is it possible to use a lot of layers in High resolution for paper printing?
Oh my goodness this is absolutely gorgeous! I’d love for you to illustrate my poetry book 😍

Hi my name is Sajida and I remember you at Grenoble public school you came there
hi , which brush have you used to to sketch the outline ?
For the sketch it’s the gouache detail from Bardot brush (listed in description box) but for line art in the final illustration it’s the default 6B pencil
Copy-paste, Internet's best tool
so true!!
