    Having a bit of a trouble with the copying levels to change the colors part and couldn't find the FAQ on the website. In the video when you go to replace levels, you select the file location that you want to replace it with and carry on. I tried following along with the instructions, and rewatched the video a few times, but can't get opentoonz to cooperate with me. I'll follow the instructions with replacing the level, but a window pops up asking if I want to Load or Import the file. I've tried both options, but ended up getting a level that opentoonz won't allow me to edit. To be clear, I had this problem when attempting both options. Any advice on how to fix/work around this problem?

    Hi, this is my first day using OpenToonz 1.5, I have an issue with creating new layers, for some reason when I try to open a new vector layer it starts at layer B instead of layer A, and says I cannot name the layer A. This happened again when I tried to copy and paste the time scale from my 3rd layer with the ball to a new layer, it would only let me name it layer D instead of layer C, but I don't have a layer name layer C. I know this is a small detail, but I don't know what's wrong. It's made my first experience with OpenToonz frustrating.

    hello Mr. Ferdinand, I am practicing this right now , but stuck in a problem, so i have this ball but i added another level for the eye and mouth, and for several next frame i created the duplicate (by pressing D , so its not linked, because i want to change the eye and mouth expression) , now after sometime, i realize i need to change/move the intial position of my ball, so how do I can move all the level altogether including the duplicates?, i tried to select all levels and move but only one level is moving, the ball is moving but the eye and mouth didn't move.

    • @AnimatorIsland
      @AnimatorIsland  3 года назад +1

      That's a cool addition to add a facial expression. Great idea! Yeah shifting multiple columns/layers at once doesn't seem to be easily possible.
      I would probably parent the face layer to the ball and then move the ball layer with the animate tool (which will then also move the face, because it's parented). Here is my video on how to parent one layer to another: ruclips.net/video/JblN4nDkjck/видео.html

    • @AnimatorIsland
      @AnimatorIsland  3 года назад

      Of course this would move all drawings and all levels on a column. If you only want to move individual frames, you have to set multiple keyframes for those areas - or once again move the lines on the layer seperately and align them manually.
