Hey, DJ Duncan. Thank you for checking us out on RUclips. The DJControl Impulse 200 is not iOS or Android compatible. It does require a computer, either Mac or pPC. It does have to be Windows 7 and above, or OS X 10.11 or above. Hit us up if we can help with anything else. Thanks, Grant Embury, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1647, Grant_embury@Sweetwater.com
Hi. I was wondering if I could plug in an extra subwoofer to this. Sry if this is a stupid question. Ive bought the controller but i would like to add a subwoofer to the already pluged in 2 speakers.
Hello, Robo! Yes, but... what I would recommend depends a lot on what your current setup consists of, and whether this is for live sound, or just at home/studio. Give us a call if you get a chance and one of our Sales Engineers can help advise on the correct gear to get. Thanks for the interest! Hey, Mike. Thank you for checking out the Hercules gear on RUclips. The Hercules DJ controllers are such a great piece of gear at an amazing price. The major differences between the 200 and 330 are that the 300 has more features. Here is a quick list: 1. Built in FX 2. 16 pads vs 8 pads 3. Slip mode 4. Playback meters These features may or may not matter to you. The playback meter and the FX are a pretty big upgrade, though. Thanks, Grant Embury, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1647, Grant_embury@Sweetwater.com
Thanks for your interest! The Inpulse 200 is only built for the included DJUCED software. There’s a chance that you may be able to map some of the controller to Serato but if you want to stick with Serato I would recommend checking out the Party Mix II from Numark, which is the same price and Serato compatible: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PartyMix2--numark-party-mix-ii-dj-controller-with-built-in-light-show Or if you really like the features in the Inpulse, the Inpulse 500 is Serato compatible, as well. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions. Connor Smith, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1793, connor_smith@sweetwater.com
Hey, Selfinflictedjoy. The Hercules DJControl Inpulse 200 does not support Serato. They are only compatible with the DJUCED software at this time. The DJControl Starlight does work with Serato DJ Lite, but that is the only one in the DJControl line that works with Serato. I think you can run your wires from the controller into the subwoofer and then from the subwoofer out to your speakers.
