The 200 isn't a great controller. The jog wheels are tiny and hard to scratch with and the performance pads are hard plastic with an audible click when you press them. I'd recommend spending that little bit more
Thanks Carl. It comes with its own software called DJuiced. I'm going from memory here but I think it may also work with Virtual DJ. Not sure about Rekordbox or Traktor.
Sound of Arman thanks for your reply. I used to DJ on vinyl a long time ago from 1999-2006 playing house and garage in the uk. I’m looking to get back into it but probably just as a hobby this time as I have a family now. DJing has come so far since 2006. I’m excited to have a go digitally with all the great features of the software and controllers these days. Thanks again. I look forward to more of your videos👍
the only thing i have doubt are how can make a set up with two speakers with just one output rca x2 ( red and white ) ??? how can set up in a club ?? amplifier ? thank you very much !
Nice Video! I am looking for a cheap controller for travel. Can we use the 8 buttons for cue points on this controller? I see some controllers have 8 buttons but, they only allow the top 4 to be cue buttons.

@@SoundofArman Great content like in all your other videos! I got myself a Hercules dj console rmx 2 to begin practicing and i have to say it's really good! Dj controllers aren't really for producing music, but I do have the inpulse 200 in which I also learned to dj and it is good, but once you get used to it you kinda wish to get a better board lol
Thnx for the review ! Do you have any idea if the energy bar of the browser knob works with Virtual DJ8? Generally is this controller fully compatible with Virtual DJ8?
It is compatible as much as I know. And if it's not from default, you can always use the mapping file if you find one to insert it in Virtual DJ. But if you want my opinion, it's better to use Traktor. Sound quality in Traktor is much better. And I confirm that it has mapping for this controller.
I would like to output master final audio to another USB interface (to xlr) I see that you did not plug the cinch of the controller, so obviously you did it. How ? Mac / windows ?
this controller would be perfect, if only the pads didn't click lol its very annoying when making abeat with them and you have to actually push/click them in, otherwise I agree this thing is amazing
They are both good - depends on your goals and needs. If you are a bit more advanced than a total beginner, or you want to progress a bit more down the road I'd say go for the DDJ 400.

mallmann rocks Unfortunately no, DJUCED like many other DJ software out there are not Spotify compatible. It’s not a capability issue, in my understanding it’s more the fact that Spotify doesn’t want people to use their music freely. However any conversion method/similar platform (like Deezloader) can be used to import files.
@@chromehearted Thank you so much for the complete response! I'm asking because I've heard/read that with the Pioneer DDJ-400 it is possible to do so. I don't want to spend much, as I'm just starting, but I'm thinking that if the mixer can't play songs from Spotify, the amount of money is gonna be high anyway, because it will be necessary to buy the songs (am I right?).
mallmann rocks I know how you feel. I started recently as well, with the Hercules Inpulse 300 being my first controller. I’m not up to date on Pioneer’s Spotify connect, but I think they might be removing that feature (again, Spotify is tough when letting people freely use their music). Now I’m all for buying artists’ actual music because they work hard on production and don’t even make that much to begin with, but realistically, it’ll be expensive for us to buy every single song. Deezloader remix is a program that lets you download songs for free off their platform. Just make sure you go on Beatport and actually support the artists when you are financially able haha
mallmann rocks though Pioneer’s DDJ-400 does work with Algoriddim’s software, DJay, (which I think is the only software to have Spotify compatibility) but as of July 1st, 2020. All Spotify third-party usage will be revoked.
