This is absolutely true, I had this procedure done earlier this year in Jan 2021 and my fibroid, which was a size of an orange is totally gone. Do your research before you do any other surgeries. And one thing that was not mentioned here is that is the least expensive out of all those surgeries. If you don't have a good OBGYN, they will even suggest removing your uterus, do not go for it until you have exhausted less invasive and permanent surgeries.

@MarianneSavanne, How are you doing now? I am considering it. I havent found that many testimonials of happy women that did UFE. All give horrific stories

I just did it 5 days ago. I still have a lot of pain. He said you could go home after a few hours. That's not true.

Doctor please I'ld like to know if the vision loss I am experiencing is as a result of fibriod , my symptoms got worse with heavy bleeding and lengthy flow from 6 days to 8 days and then I noticed my vision is poor...I visited my optician and she's saying it's Glacoma...I don't believe her, I think my hormones and fibroid is responsible for this.

Vision loss should be investigated with an ophthalmologist (an eye doctor). Blurry vision could be a result of profound anemia from excessive blood loss during your menses from fibroids but you should have this checked out with an eye doctor right away.

This is weird I also experienced this and I dont have abnormal bleeding. I have normal periods. the only symptom I have is the pressure in my lower belly
