Oh wow, this is so crazy because I’ve have fibro, and I’m 11 days post-op, so I didn’t see your video that you were getting this done! 😮 My heart goes out to you with all the added complications you’ve faced. And talk about a parallel story, my period was about to start a couple of days after, also. Knowing I’d need to do this with fibromyalgia was the scariest part for me, but I feel a renewed sense of hope, and it seems it you do, too! Sending you gentle hugs and positive vibes! ✨🫶🏽✨
@@MelissavsFibromyalgia I know I’ve got further to go, but so far no flares! 🙌🏾 My incisions are itchy and starting to heal rather quickly. I see too where some days I get a burst of energy, but then for the next two days I just sleep for hours. Mentally…I’m honestly so surprised by how much calm and peace I have. I definitely see the clear difference between now and how I normally function even with fibro. This is a stopping and starting point where I’m going to finally allow myself space to heal beyond the surgery. I always saw fibro as just something that cripples me. Now I’m seeing that it was my body crying out in response to chronic stress and lack of care. I would’ve never guessed that a hysterectomy would impact how I perceived the fibro.
That is a good mindset shift!! I'm so excited to see what my body feels like once the inflammation of the endometriosis has cleared out, with the endometriosis itself gone, and without the days of pain pre period, intense days of actual period pain, heavy bleeding, days of post pain and ovulation pain!! Hope your healing trajectory continues upwards
It’s so much to go through! Before surgery and after but then day after day you realize wow!! I was being tortured and now I’m set free. My best advice is to use your paint method and listen to your body. Pamper yourself daily with something you enjoy to watch or read as much as you can as you heal.
I’m so sorry you had to go through all this. I’m glad you were finally able to get the help you deserved all along. I hope you just continue to improve and feel better. 🙏
So glad the operation is a win for you.

I definitely do, trying not to let hopes get too high, but have hope for sure. Best wishes for you as you recover too. Feeling OK so far?
